I found YOU first so I had a different view. I'm a Dair fan. I thought they worked well together and had witty dialogue. I also like to pretend that when Blair left Dan he had a nervous breakdown and changed his name to Joe Goldberg. Also the scene when Blair is getting in the car with the French prince. And Dan is lurking around the corner of the building just like Joe Goldberg. So I take the scene differently.

I think the writers just messed up everything by the end of season 5. In my opinion season 4 had the best dair moments, things got a little bit complicated when they added Louis into the picture, but I really enjoyed the first half of season 5 till maybe 5x19. Then it all went to sh*t so badly. The ending pairs should've been Dan & Blair, Nate & Serena. As for Chuck they should've killed him or he should've end up in jail.
