Drone footage is definitely the icing on the cake, it puts perspective on the track, instead of just seeing the 4x4 exit the beach. Good to get the whole picture, well done 👍
Would not want to try that today did Fraser 30 plus years ago I had heard about the Island and persuaded my sister who lived in Brisbane to go up and stay for a week while I was over from the UK it was fabulous Rainbow Beach in a 4x4 had never done anything like it before amazing is the only word I can think of not many people in those days nothing like it is today we never had any problems navigating any of the sand in what I think was a high lux.
Fraser Island really is a magnificent place! I do wish I actually spent the time to record a proper video but the group was just too large. I think I will go again some time with a smaller group and record alot of the places to see and really show what fraser is all about! Glad you enjoyed your time here!
Regarding ESC, some newer vehicles need ESC turned off everytime you start the vehicle. It's a real PIA. My Audi Q5 has it and with it turned off (not really off just reduced) it's awesome on sand.
Yep, when dad eventually worked out how to turn it off (hold the traction control button down longer) he said it was like driving a whole different vehicle
