Cadia stands where ever there is a standing Cadian. Kind of like that alleged quote where a Spartan was asked where Sparta's territory ends: (Paraphrased) The Spartan holds his spear forward and says, "Sparta's territory ends right about there" referencing the tip of his spear.
Yep! Cadians have some pretty cool mythical spartan parallels across the board which is some definitely cool flavoring I feel a lot of people overlook when saying they’re just generic space soldiers.

If kriegsmen were unmasked and not just 21yo on average alot of time, they might have some great staches too. But since the mask thing is a thing the winner is clear in the stache game

I'm happy that someone finally akncowledges the fact that Cadians are the poster boys of the guard for good reason, they're the baseline for most guard regiments because they're that damn good at their job, I hate it when people just dismiss them as boring because they're competent and profesional, just like they do with the Imperial Fist or Ultramarines.
The flaws are what make the chapters interesting

Well people dismiss them as boring because they are boring sure they are some of the best the imperium has to offer as far as soldiers go but that doesnt make them interesting
The thing I like the most about Kasrkin is that the whole "best of the best of the best" thing, can be considered somewhat true now, since soldiers from outside Cadia are starting to be inducted into the Kasrkin, which If it means what it says, than the best of every Gaurd regiment can attempt to join the Kasrkin, making them the 'True Elites' of 40k. So you could technically have Kasrkin that are from Armagedon, Tallarn, or even Krieg (if you could find a Kriegsman who wanted to leave the Death Korps.)
Sounds like the space marine deathwatch equivalent to it, cause they are also the best taking xenos of the census and are made up of different chapters

After playing SPM 2 in September, I did the for me till this point unthinkable and looked up WH40k videos. After like 2 other videos I found this channel and the fall of cadia video. Krak your drawing and humor really makes an akzing combo, you sold me the Cadians so unbeliefebally quick. I watched the Cadia Stands Video like 4 times now (currently reading the book) and the stormtrooper one like 3 times now (started my own army with kasrkin now). Please Never stop making videos, I am literally giggiling and kicken my feet when you upload ❤.

The Gods of Mars series of books does the guard and specifically the Cadians justice, you get the perfect mix of the guard being mere humans in combat but from how they're written you get the feeling that each one is in fact on the level of a teir 1 operator.

I got into 40k from SM2, got recommended your channel, and have never looked back. When the Cadian got introduced in the game to me I instantly dove into as much lore as I could find and when you did the stormtrooper video I sat back and went "Yea, no wonder I like the Cadian so much."

The next third-person shooter based on WH40K needs to cast the player as a Cadian trooper who for reasons is tagging along with Space Marines.
Cadians are a close second to the Tempestus Scions for me personally but it's possible to be both at the same time so a win win i guess.

Hi, I've been watching your videos since the first few uploads you've made and its cool to see you come so far! Could you please cover Grey Knights at some point? They're my favorite faction and could use your drawings and humor.
The thing I hate about the saying the planet broke before the guard is that it implies the guard ever broke.
As a relatively newbie into the 40k world, around 3months into it, I find myself almost exclusively utilizing you as my lore go to. I don't normally comment on videos but you did such a good job on hyping up the Cadians that I needed to. I have constantly GLAZED over them in the past thinking why anyone would choose a them vs any of the genetically superior space marines. Well sir you once again entertained and informed me as to my mistake.

I loved the quote from the Space Marine 2 game where a cadian soldier is told that ammo is running low. He answers in all seriousness that he's glad that he brought his Slingshot. To fight off deamons storming out of the gates of hell mind you.
Really love how the "one of, if not the best" joke has become a full blown running joke over multiple episodes. Definitely one of, if not the best running jokes I've seen in a while.

Playing darktide, ive used the vets shout ability a lot and he often yells "For creed!". I now realize the character is probably referring to Castellan Creed, meaning they were not only a native cadian in the regiments, but also the renowned 8th itself. What a fun time to get into Warhammer

I have also read that with Kasrkin, they are conditioned to be incapable of pulling the trigger when a friendly or a commanding officer is in their crosshair, it is literally impossible for them to commit friendly fire.

love your channel bro. kasrkins are my fave as well, however i also love the tempestus sicons (I've spelled that wrong i know) witch I'm pretty sure were changed to the same thing back in like 7th or 8 edition the kasrkin were called stormtroopers before this (you can see why they changed ). But instead of making new models the just created the tempestus sicons who have the same hell guns and basically rewrote all the lore to say that stormtrooper never exist. Every was normal until 10th were they created the new kill team kasrkins (drool). wondering if they fixed this in the lore and made them separate again? thanks keep up the awesome videos
If I remember correctly, there was a story when combined regiments were used, including Cadians, Catachans, Mordians and the Praetorians - most of them decided to let the Cadian commander command - especialy the Catachan commander, who came with the initiative. If Catachan commander talks about someone with that kind of respect - everyone should know that this is not for no reson.
So... we all have our favourites. Favourite Factions, favourite Space Marine Chapters, favourite Guardsmenregiment and so on. But the Guard is the one thing i cant descide on a favourite. IDK why. But imma look into the Valhallan Guard. They sound interesting

i used to only love the kriegers and nothing else but now i like the cadians more the kriegers are now my second favourite because they have the balls to use horses in the 41st millenium and are allowed to do what is normally seen as tech heresy
My main reason why I prefer Krieg over Cadians is their relationship to commissars. Most regiments have to be forced to die for their emperor, Kriegsmen have to be held back to not die. I also am not fond of painting skin. Both are good and Cadians are probably a very close second best in my opinion.

I’m not a huge guardsman fan and cadians aren’t my favorite. But hearing people talk about their favorite faction always makes me appreciate them more than I previously did. And I also have no room to bash someone for liking cadians the most because my favorite regiment are the Kriegers which is only barely less basic. Anyways Cadians might not be my favorite but i definitely appreciate them more than I did before

Kriegers are my fav guardsmen faction. Really like the WW1 style to it and how low tech they are sometimes in a high tech setting. Sometimes people are to much about them though and I did ding the straw man funny :) good video as always :) always stoked to see the guard regardless.

My favorite part about the Cadians (and the reason I almost started with them back in 3rd edition) is that you can paint their armor up like your favorite faction in Advanced Wars. Blue Moon 4 life!
