- Battersea is a district in the South end of London, known for its victorian park and the Battersea Power Station that is now being renovated and repurposed as a shopping centre and luxury apartments, whilst still keeping its original facade.

Brilliant drone video footage, thank you for uploading this. It's so cool to see the area I grew up in again and just how much its changed. Seems weird not seeing the iconic blue British Gas holder building that used to be behind the Shell Garage on Queenstown Road, but love seeing how the area has been modernised. Power Station looks awesome now its been given a new lease of life.

I used to live at thessaly street, opposite the Battersea power plant back at 2012. The area around it looks awesome now!

Was this a major pain to get permission for?
There were no restrictions in the area and time of the year of this flight so I didn't need to get a permit
@@ACDrone I want to fly close to the powerstation but it seems to be in the middle of 3 nfz's
Just apply for a permit on the NATS website, it's quite straightforward 😀

@@ACDroneI also went to battersea for drone footage, but officials told me you needed a permit (the power station is privately owned)
