Gah i remember this part when i read the manga... I cried so much of both joy and sadness over that she didn't died at the end and I'm crying even now TT-TT ... So touching
no. this is the scene from the game. however it actually happens in the series which the anime didn't cover. The anime only shows a quater of what flame recca actual story line. the rest are in the manga. this scene depicts recca's final battle ever in the manga.
it's not done by different artist. it's still noboyuki anzai-sensei himself. it's just that.. he improved his artwork. and.. he indeed improved a lot. @_@
i m really satisfied with the ending in the manga. it was a really good closeur. it would be nice to see how they end up in the end. ***spoiler*** better yet it would be awesome if kogeru came back with kurie after they finish their business 400 years ago time, and yanagi married recca (which is a fact since recca mother already acknowledge yanagi is her daugther in law in da manga), and all the other things. but i guess our imagination can cover that. lol.

That was pretty mean. Recca got to have his girl again, but once again Kurei was left in the dark. Anyway, This was a really good series, truly memorable.
I love the ending song. OMG T_T This makes me so emotional and makes me understand again , why I love animes & manga so much! They really just touch your hearts! Anyone knows the ed song???

Especially Joker! His fight with Koganei in the Ura Butou... And the when he fought along side Koganei to defeat Shiguma and Kirito... And his final battle against Kadotsu! [Which is one of the reasons why fans think he is Nanashi in the series MAR made by Anzai as well.]

well there is another manga from this writer which I suggest you guys to read is M.A.R!!!!! The drawing skills of that author was improved a lot!!! However the plot wasn't as good as this one!!!! Overall I love flame of recca + one piece the most!!

all i can remember is the character name saichou from the tv series
since the main enemy of the hokage was defeated... the hokage has finished its purpose so all thing releated to the hokage will disappear....
