I am not a woodworker at all, but i find it incredibly satisfying watching. I have recently purchased my first kit and will soon start the process of painting and assembling. I have watched some of your painting and coloring videos, so I am preparing my guitar for coloring.

What kit did you get? I recently did a Pango Music kit (flying V) and I was really happy with it. Some folks have had some issues with the Pango kits but most of the problems are very simple to fix.

I’m going to love this one Bill, my current build is a canary top and back and the colour of that wood is just beautiful. Great choice of a maple board too!👍

Thanks Gio, I really like the colours that come in the grain of Canary.

Nice process and nice progress. I like how you doubled up on the neck blank to get two from one billet. When it was wide and flat it looked scarily thin but as you shape it it is looking much more scale and proper. Of course would probably help to not watch these videos in the middle of the night hahaha.

Yeah, it is always a surprise at how thin the wood can be and seem to be!

I love canary. And not just because it smells like PlayDough 😂

One of my favorite woods. Always seems to have an interesting grain pattern and colour

Nice work Bill. I use the exact same method for pinning and gluing the fretboard on. Also trim the fretboard to the neck.
