- We get a full photoshoot of the new Transformers Legacy Evolution Leader Class Prime Skyquake but due to his sculpting this opens up to a whole bunch of repaints and retools as well as the old G1 1992 Predator Gimmick!

Of all the Prime “stylizations” we’ve gotten from Legacy, this is the only one I can say I truly like. It’s not perfect, and obviously an accurate Prime Skyquake would have been better, but THIS is how you do a stylized interpretation of a character, not whatever the trainwreck that the prior three Prime Legacy figures are.
Bulkhead was honestly the best of the three as he actually had a pretty good mode (granted it wasn't 100% accurate but it was still good). Knockout was fine.
Arcee was really the only bad one in my opinion

@@kaih_the_viewer Bulkhead was okay as a figure, but looked nothing like the Prime design other than being green and having the right head. Arcee sucked. Knockout had one good mode.

This one’s badass cause it actually takes the g2 and tfp designs and puts them together. Really hope we get a King Atlas repaint in the future
I know we'll probably get a Dreadwing out of it. G2 Skyquake and King Atlas... I dunno. We might consider they'll be all kinds of strange retools/redecoes out now.

Gonna be an abuse mold, maybe sooner they will retooled it into King Atlas or Machine Wars Starscream?
Furthermore he's a mixed of G1 (with Prime aesthetic robot mode) and Prime ( G1 Jet mode Aesthetic )
And the Jet mode looks like G1 because he's a large Strato-Fighter bomber 🔥
Who knows? They’ll obviously make it into dreadwing

Ok, that’s smart. Magmaboss at some point? Armada Wheeljack? IDW Hot Rod? Armada Prime and Jetfire? Anything’s on the table now.
I definitely think we could be seeing Aerialbots and Predators. I'll go one further and speculate that Motormaster will be retooled into Thunderclash, since their vehicle and base modes are so similar. That might also mean that the Stunticon cars could be retooled into the remaining Turbomaster Autobots, since we already got a new Rotorstorm in 2020.

G1 Skyquake
MW Starscream
King Atlas
Prime Dreadwing
G2 Dreadwing
TLK Megatron
MW Megatron/Megaplex
Those are the ones I can think of from the top of my head. This guy looks incredible and I can’t wait
I like this one. He doesn't really look G1ified, he's just Skyquake with some different details. His head looks like a Prime design, even if it has a nose. He's got those big expressive eyes, that upside down teardrop shape of the head, the big chin, and the thin lips.
I don't think we even need the G2 repaint, this guy works well as a double homage. I vibe with these colors more.

I unfortunately missed out on the entire prime line and actually like Bulkhead and Knockout from the Legacy line. So I’m looking forward to this guy and I hate to say it, I want the repaint too and I typically don’t go for repaints.
Now here’s hoping we get to see what that new Armada Megatron and Optimus look like in all their glory here soon. Those two I am most excited about.
Also those WFC game characters if that is supposed to be a thing.
Really hyped for this figure. Can’t wait to see the pre-order and what comes out of this figure in the future.

It seems like you hit the nail on the head with repaints. It’s the most cost effective way for Hasbro to release the Arielbots & the Predators. Also begs the question if we’ll see a similar gimmick with a generation 2 Dreadeing and Smokescreen. Anyway thanks for the update on what seems to be great figures from Hasbro.

Can't wait for Skyquake. Definitely makes me happy that I didn't decide to get Skyquake and Dreadwing from the Prime toyline online. Hopefully, Prime Universe Dreadwing comes out of this mold as I would love to finally get the Prime jet brothers, and if Dreadwing is the only repaint/retool to come out of this, I'll be satisfied enough. But, to speak for everyone else who would like to more from the Skyquake mold, I'll be interested to see how he can be retooled in the future.
There's also the possibility of the Dreadwing repaint having some kind of G1 functionality with those notches.

Machine Wars Starscream was one of my first, if not my very first transformers figure so there's a ton of nostalgia for that design. I was freaking out when this thing got leaked the other day. Can't wait to see all the repaints!
I hope you are right about the potential of this mold and the needlenose mold. I would love to see all of those characters represented. A few more jets we need are g2 dreadwing his partner g2 smokescreen and maybe we could get go bots leader one. 😃😃😃
This is easily the greatest looking prime universe figure so far!
Things have gotten bloody bonkers since Mark took over. And I’m loving it!!!!
So far they is easily the best legacy prime character.
I really want a G1/predator colour scheme and head here as my original skyquake has suffered from its gold plastic disintegrating getting a new version of him would be ace. (I will probably buy the Prime one as a standby though and sell it on once the true use of the mold in the predator colour scheme gets released, but then it'll probably be a retailer exclusive. Here's hoping for the jets and stalker soon as well and the thunderclash with his car brothers to accompany the recent rotorstorm that was released. If Hasbro also made the last two unproduced designs from that set as well then Oh boy goodbye monies.)
I like it. It definitely still has the "Prime but G1-ified" aesthetic the other Prime Universe figures were going for but I think this one handles it better than the others.
Bring on the G2 Predators baby. I’m for it
Man I just want a prime character that isn’t bogged down in accuracy because of random obscure G1 gimmicks only 3 people will actually care about

@@angelofdarkness20011 the entire design of the torso. I don’t care about some rando G1 toy, I just want them to make prime figures actually look like prime characters. The entire legacy line concept rubbed me the wrong way because of that. Their hyperfixation on obscure G1 characters is actively making the characters from other parts of transformers look worse. Yeah it’ll probably get repainted into G1 skyquake, but why does the figure of a prime character have to suffer?
This is why I have zero hope for how they'll treat Animated.

Glad to see #Hasbro give the fandom a character thats toy was impossible to get a hold of. Maybe we could get Runabout through the Buzzworthy line. That would be swell.
It's like a remake of the original G1 Skyquake, but it's the aligned continuity's version of the character and without the godawfully brittle gold plastic syndrome.

The design could grow on me. Some recolor ideas for Hasbro include red and black. Maybe make the black one an Autobot.
I remember the Predators as G2, but it was in that end one toyline start of another jumble I can only be 45% confident in my memories.

I do remember the design team saying that Needlenose was going to have some surprises that they wanted us to find out on our own. I personally think they will make the rest of the Predators and I think the Aerialbots are inevitable at this point
I've liked all the prime universe figures so far, particularly I've liked how they've looked in comic and manga panels so far like wreckers, shattered glass and that velocitron manga. As figures I feel they hit a balance of looking both distinct from the rest of generations yet also looking good next to other generations figures. Like different aesthetics in the same art style.
I'd love a G2 deco on this.

Love it! This mold actually shows Some serious deep cuts; now I have a better idea of which characters I want to get; based on possible versions that might be coming out. Like I might wait for the G1 version instead of getting the prime version.
I hope they spam this guy, and get as many reuses as they can.

let me say something controversial: i didn't wanted Prime Skyyquake. I wanted the G1 Skyquake. i prefer that design, and is a character that only got a second figure in all this years, and dosen't count cause it was a botcon exclusive repaint of Energon Starscream.
Hopefully we do get the repaint/retool out of this one. thats what intereses me.

It's very obvious that Hasbro put a lot of budget into the upcoming Legacy Evolution Prime Universe Skyquake. Hasbro obviously has plans to reuse this Skyquake mold a lot. I like how this version of Skyquake, at least to me, has a very Japanese anime feel. I feel like this version of Skyquake would fit right into Transformers Victory.
I will probably get this due to owning the original prime version (the figure broke)
I'll probably pass on this guy unless I can find him on sale, mainly because I can't wait to get Dreading. I missed out on the original Dreadwing (I only saw him in stores once).

Absolutely no interest in Prime, but would be all over Machine Wars Starscream and G1 Predators. I wonder if this has any connection to the theory that Motormaster was designed for a Thunderclash retool.
The only thing i dont like with this figure is the chest is too flat and not prime skyquake with the front jet as the chest and the head sculpt isnt perfect. Up close it only vaguely looks like skyquake. Regarless as a huge fan of prime and the jet twins i will definetly pick this and the blue ver when it comes out
I much prefer this technique of using a "Prime Universe" Legacy figure to homage an obscure and unique G1 character over the usual approach of just making the Prime character design more boring and generic.
The only problem is that the other Prime characters are fairly established in those particular designs.
