    Hi Aisha ,
    I have a confusion. With respect to Burn Down Charts, its always said they burn down chart CANNOT show change is scope. My confusion is that I feel increase in Story points and then the upward spike in the line showing burndown can indicate Scope creep.
    Example : Lets say on day 1 of sprint the number of SP remaining (Y Axis) is 40. After 2 days the number of SP remaining (Y Axis) drops to 30. After another 2 days 1 new story worth 5 SP is added. Will the burndown line not go up to 35 on the Y axis, because now the remaining work to be completed is 35 ( 5 SP have been added) ?? This upward movement can indicate scope creep
    Question : Based on above example can someone please explain WHY Burn down chart cannot show scope creep (use case : 1 extra story worth 5 SP was added in the sprint ) ?

    • @AishaTech655
      @AishaTech655  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello,
      It should show on the Burndown chart when a story with story point is added to the sprint. The only time it will not show is if you added a story without estimated point. You can scroll down the Burndown chart and see the detail changes. That can help you see why it is not showing
