I’ve been meaning to test the TC at different levels for climbs and turns but not as extreme as in this video because I don’t have those skills 😉. Looking forward to the skills video mentioned explaining how he helped keep the tire in contact with the ground. Great video!

Not sure if you have covered this in your other videos. Do tell us about your exhaust system and the airbox shootings you are using on this bike! Seems you are using the Akrapovic.... Is the baffle removed? Great videos and very relevant information to the 790 / 890! 890R Owner Reporting in!!
Of course the db Killer is out, the Akra sounds for all this money like the OEM exhaust when the db Killer is inside. Unfortunately all this is impossible for us in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In the rest of the world you can just live and remove everything.

Can you talk or do a video about how much slip modes affect wheelies? I am learning to do wheelies on my 890 (very cautious about it) and find on paved surfaces without the tire slipping, the higher slip modes still make it more difficult to get the wheel up. Lower slip modes feel a little scary with the power. Absolutley lover your videos and channel, by the way
The way I got use to it was focusing on my keeping my left finger resting on the clutch & my foot hovering the rear brake at all times. If I feel in un easy - I pull the clutch back in to cut power & engage the rear brake top drop the front fast if i need to. Knowing I always have an out already set up makes practicing easier.

Greg, have you tried just switching off MTC altogether ? It removes the computers last little bit of control on traction

same, rally mode slip 5 was my starting position both on and off road. Then turn down to suit the terrain (slip 1 mud throwing mode)😄😄😄😄

Ive been trying to figure this out myself. If you can stil wheelie in Rally mode. Even just lofting the front. I gather you can with good technique.

Bike has way too much high speed compression damping, even softened up to "comfort" settings.
It softens up over time. Make sure you are lifting the bike off the wheels when adjusting.
