This saves the yellow line for "outside" travel and the purple for "inside" travel which would give the purple line an actual use and might even actually be profitable. Plus having two different tram lines using and stopping on the same street often ends up with them conflicting with each other and holding each other up slowing both of them down which is just bad for service.

It looks like they come from the former name of Sri-lanka before being freed from the British empire. So the Ceylon district could be a cool name since you've got cats and tea. Though perhaps it being the name of a former colony might not be in the best taste. Either way I figured I'd share the little tidbit I learnt.

I think your new build area transport is SUPER LONG. I'd like to see the main mass transit stop nearby and then everything internal to that area be local stop. Kind of like transit hierarchy vs road hierarchy.

The new area is by Alley Cat, the best known alley cat is from the cartoon Top Cat, a.k.a T.C, the area can be called TeaSea, as the area is next to water 💧 😀

I know this isn't tea related but I grew up in an area of South East London called Catford. Would be a cool to see AlleyCat's area called Catford. Catford doesn't exactly have a good reputation for being a nice area so it would be cool to what Catford could be under biffa!

Biffa, the Japanese hotel might work better if it faced the water. Turn its front towards the water. That allows all its guests a beautiful view, except for the cheap rooms in the back.
The trees could be replaced by some nice greenery - keep it nice while keeping the view. Maybe use it to make this part of the city more vibrant colour wise. Love the city - wish I could build half as well. Have a good one
I agree, I also think that, if biffa wants to keep a row of trees, he should utilize more shorter trees, which would be a nice addition. I just don't feel that the tall trees fit in there.
For the Alley Cat area, you could call a place O'Malltea... named after O'Malley, the Alley Cat from the Aristocats, but more... tea-ified. If that's a term? Now I'm wondering if Teaification is the terminology of choice for making names more tea adjacent.
Nice Work Biffa. At 32:52, you could keep the landsides of the bridge at the original hight and put the ascend in the bridgepart. That might solve that sour a bit. Also at the new pedestrian area on the waterfront you could add some small foodstands, there should be some in the self sufficient/local produce low density commercial, for what I've seen on another channel.
A nice name for the new residential area would be called "Catearpillar Alley", cuz -It is shaped like a caterpillar -It includes part of the map made by AlleyCat :)
In Amsterdam there are free ferries, maybe we can do it here too? You can call it the "CherryTea Line" as both Cherry's are connected and free of charge.

Easy way to do that would be to bridge over and down the quey an put just enough of an island to place the building. Or you can just force zoning on the bridge.
I've never seen a where with ferries that go to the same piece of land from there, like doing the job that busses could do. I've seen ferries being used for crossing water to another island or part that can only be accessed with bridges
Need to do some lane-mathematics on the highway interchange over the top there. Can see the traffic starting to backup more often through this episode alone

Now, for example, I realized that it would be enough for me to choose a wall-to-wall solution and I wouldn't have to unload the buildings one by one in the pedestrian zone, so that afterwards the automatic bulldozer would neatly dismantle them and leave nothing there.🤪🤣
Drop the highway down to the level of the railroad but still as a bridge so there would at least be a few rooms in the hotel where there is a view on that side.
For the ferry stop on the rocks, wouldn't it be a good idea to make some sort of path there, so that the walk-ons don't have to walk all that way for the spur road?
Maybe you could add some trees or planters troughout the new area, it feels a bit like a concrete jungle to me. Loving the series so far, keep it up! :)
For a residential area coming of a highway put part of the highway underground then the exits and entrance go up and down from the ground for some space
Watching fellow cities skylines TH-camr Seniac play around with the road unlocking tool (or whatever its called) once you unlock/unhook the road you can simply upgrade the road rather than deleting and replacing.
I've noted that on pedestrian roads Tram stops/routes have essentially no riders. A loaded tram coming off a street will unload 100% at first pedestrian road stop.
There is a "six lane road with median and tram tracks" that has the trams in the middle. Think it came out with the free roads etc dlc that came out a little while ago. Though would love to see a vid where you make your own and put it in 👍

I bought me an used gaming PC with bigger RAM to play Cities Skylines more often again, but after installing and starting the game, the whole PC turned into a pink/purple tint somehow.... do you have any ideas to solve that problem?
You could convert that T junction to a 4 way, and make the new exit loop around to the road by the water.... not thinking it would be great traffic wise, but there is some space there, or if the long way around backs up a lot

Do a bus lane from the ferry stop to the normal road so the service vehicles choose that, and you can do a bus line.

As someone that uses public transportation, could you make your routes smaller and add more routes. Cuts down on wait time.
The stadium and the waterfront tram look like it's just out of Hong Kong! The Kennedy Town to Wan Chai waterfront is so similar!
