Some of the pasta sauces I buy have pretty mason jars. I remove the label, wash them well, and use them to decant items. Sugar, flour, or even tide pods. They look prettier to me than the packaging from the store!

Those bread clips (flat ones) are a good solution to finding the end of your masking tape, painters tape, etc. just stick it to the end each time you use the tape, never have to search for the start of the tape again

We pretty much stopped using wrapping paper decades ago, when I decided that it was a waste to throw away beautiful paper that had been used only once just to wrap a gift. I started making gift bags out of fabric I had left from other projects, and then started buying remnants of holiday prints in January after the Christmas season. And family members who have arthritic hands found these bags were great because wrapping gifts was hard on their hands, so we gave them each a stack of bags. We've been using some of the same bags for almost 40 years now, and seeing them each year is almost like seeing old friends again. And it's surprising that fabric that wouldn't make attractive clothese actually makes nice looking bags. We still use paper to wrap gifts we are giving to people outside the family, but we haven't had to buy paper for years since our supply has lasted a long time. I think some of your viewers would enjoy using this idea, and they could even repurpose old clothes --- plaid flannel shirts would make great looking gift bags.

Another Butt heel bread idea.. I take my butt ends and put them in the toaster, let them air dry over night and then run through the food processor.. My own bread crumbs for baking fish, chicken etc I add a little Italian Seasoning to mine and shake up the container. Easy and not wasteful. I haven't bought Panko Crumbs in years. Btw if you have thicker bread slices you might have to toast it twice in the toaster. Anna In Ohio

I started saving Lycra scraps for a sewing project.......cut it into 1/2 in wide strips or 1/3 inch wide.......and cut into about 7-13 inch long pieces and tied Bothe ends a knot in the end, making a circle......can be used from pony tail ties.......or I use them in the kitchen - the longer version and roll up food bags, as in flour, meal, bagged open partial mixes......and I stretch them over whatever I want to tape or clip up...........to wash later, just place in water in warm water, soapy (coffee cup) for 1 min and roll around and then rinse and re-use.........I have been doing this for a long time......and also used these when we were required to wear mask to the dr. office........these lycra pieces did not hurt the ears..(the fabric stores during covid sold out of elastic....wow ).......so I made lots of these and share them with others.........they are so so handy......you will find other uses for them as in holding cords together and more.

Ha ha. I don’t even use wrapping paper rolls. 😅😅 I just collect a few random gift bags or give small things like money or gift cards, or send things online to them.
Plastic bags I just keep some (not all) in another plastic bag. (Hanging up).
Will be looking into the foil thing to sharpen all my blades. Lol.
    Cool and clever tips! Lol.
I guess my one thing is to use clothes pins for food storage clips. And then using peroxide a lot for laundry and cleaning (esp with pets and any other organic messes or stains. Enzyme power! It just doesn’t get any better than a cheap product “eating up” organic material and making it go away. Lol).

Bacon grease is unhealthy for humans. It is also unhealthy for dogs as well. There are much healthier options for treats for your dog like fresh broccoli or carrots. Giving your dog bacon grease will result in vet bills, not to mention how horrible that the dog will have to go through being ill. Healthier options will SAVE you money, and your dog will be happier.

Just a heads up...some period panties have absorbent crystals sewn inside the crotch. They work great but after so many washings can start to dissolve and that creates a powder that can come through the fabric & irritate sensitive "parts". Not sure which brands, just have friends that have used them & have had to deal with the irritations.

Funny, I think "feminine product" companies have caught on and actually market those.. they sell them in Israel for almost 30 USD, what a joke... regular panties are just fine and probably better, cotton is most likely best

I use the saucer part of a cup/saucer for plant dishes to catch water or just to dress up a faux plant so it looks even more real. It's good for a cracker plate or chip plate if you want to keep them from getting soggy in a dinner plate, even a small charqutery dish for the cheese etc. Also jewelry holder on a dresser or next to the kitchen sink for those that remove rings/bracelets. good for plants outside on the patio to dress it up also.
