I grew up in an Eastern Block country in a Christian family, and we never had a Bible. We never even seen a Bible until I worked as a housekeeper in a hotel in Australia at age 23 when I saw my first ever Bible in the bedside table drawers. I was so excited and took one home and read it cover to cover. Looking back now I see that despite we never had a Bible, now I can see that our parents taught us the solid correct Gospel according to the Scriptures. I remember asking a lot of questions as a child and my parents answered them right according to what the Bible says. Praise the Lord!
Excellent as usual Steve. U just have a special way about u. U teach with love and truth. So much knowledge gained through years and years of walking with the Lord and studying.... I really appreciate your service to Christ. Many people are benefiting form your teaching.
What an amazing and awesome privilege it is that our Father gave His Son so that we could share in the communion of the Holy Spirit, have His seal upon our hearts and be led into His blessed will. What an amazing and beautiful thing! We are new creations in Christ Jesus and the Temple of the Holy Spirit!!! Praise God!!!!!
I have watched so many preachers and teachers on this subject trying to understand it but never has anyone laid it out so plain as you have. Thank you so much! This is a superb teaching. You nailed it on the head. Amazing! Love it!
Another spiritual thought of *walking in the Spirit* is the process of being *crucified with Christ* working in me/us (the killing of the carnal mind and ungodly motivations as they arise) and the reulting new enabling godly life, transacted from Christ's overcoming power. John 12:32, Galations 2:20
Absolutely agree 11:05! In a lot of ways I envy those who lived before the invention of the printing press! Sometimes I find it neccessary to put my bible down for a time and just converse with the Lord. My one regret though was listening to too many preachers in the early days of my faith. 13:41 I would do without the bible before I'd do without the Holy Spirit because, to me, the Holy Spirit IS the bible. I could have been born deaf and blind and mute yet being saved in such a condition I would still have understanding of God's perfect will.
Thank you so much for all of the wonderful Bible lessons that you've been teaching throughout your life I am so thankful that you have them online so that I can access them and share them with my family This particular video was not in a very good presentation on TH-cam since it was very narrow and black on both sides of the picture. It would be much better if the video filled the whole screen
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1Cor 1:18 As to whether I'd rather have the Holy Spirit or scripture, give me the spirit every time. Without the spirit the message of the Cross is foolishness and without it none are saved. Easy peasy.
Steve Gregg, I imagine they had some literature however that we don't have today. Also being that much closer to the time if Jesus, I imagine they also had many ancestors and relatives who passed stories down from witnessing accounts. .. it would be great to know what all else they had back then that we don't have now. But one thing for sure, we all have the same LORD. Amen.
Steve recorded on FB live, which only records in vertical. Those watching on FB were seeing him sideways for the first 4 min. I edited so he's upright for the whole video.
The commandments of the Lord are already designed to crucify the flesh and carnal sin nature that forces you to walk in the Holy Spirit. If you obey His commandments then you therefore are abiding in Jesus, and His Spirit. Answer: Obey His commandments and maintain fellowship with Him.

Walk in the Spirit - thsoe who have not GOD's Spirit of Christ are none of HIS. - Romans 8:9 - - Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - Romans 8:4 - That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - Galatians 5:16 - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. - Galatians 5:25 - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Walk in the Spirit. Nothing else brings God glory or satisfaction for us. Oh, Lord Jesus, fill us with your Spirit!

Everything God does is consistent with his Godly (divine) nature. That's the rule/law/way/walk that should rule his children. 2 peter 1:3-10
Great topic. Btw the video was being filmed correctly and then you turned the phone the wrong way. It should always be filmed horizontally.
yep
If we are filled with the Spirit, we will then be able to walk by or in the Spirit as far as I can tell...
3:54 The camera position was better at first hehe

Hi
Just cannot understand "Christians " rebellion against His Sabbath..given at creation..before Sanai..
WHY?
WALK AS CHRIST..
????
The Sabbath wasn't commanded until 2500 years after creation, at Mt. Sinai. No one is commanded to keep the Sabbath in the New Testament.
Yes the camera was better. Now it's just a strip in the middle the rest is all black.
Yes, I mean.... not that it really matters but I do agree
