The online hate Joyce has received is ridiculous! People just love to jump on trends and either hate or love someone they have no clue about and it's really sad. Joyce is a class act. She has received racial abuse from angry ginge fans and has the right to say a lot worse but she showed grace. Hopefully he can learn from this and not harass people and call out his fans when they are racially attacking people.

I just wanna appreciate how this podcast genuinely allows you to get to know and understand the perspective of the guests rather than just going straight into the drama for the views like other podcasts x ( max is also such a sweetheart for checking in on Joyce like tha )
Well having watched locked in and never fully understanding the context behind why Joyce got so mad. Now she has explained her side I really actually understand completely where she has came from. If you do not know what angry ginge is about then you of course are going to have your guard up and think who is this man? Like people we need to be real …. I get ginge as a character but then understanding that he has fans who don’t actually do it as a joke (like ginge does) they do it to just be nasty.
Joyce didn’t need all that hate it was unnecessary
She also didn't need to press charges on someone for being hit with a crumpet, while she threw ketchup and eggs at fu, or laughing when Danny hit tenn in the face with the orange....

Never heard of Madame Joyce, I'm only a few minutes in and she already seems great (especially as a fellow Londoner). I've also got a spare ticket for the first London show if anyone wants to buy it (obviously only asking face value for it), now that I've got a M&G for the last night (still got to book a hotel, which is difficult coz you can't filter by how good the beds are 😅).

They’re literally in the challenge room so I don’t buy the whole oh she thought he’s a producer therefore it’s all good. They were in the box mid challenge. It’s an obvious windup. Again no one called assault on Danny when they didn’t know him, or for any other object thrown in the house, last season they didn’t call assault on destiny for literally bruising maxs ribs and having a medic team come in, or for max cutting destiny’s face with a tortilla shell (they said this afterwards not included in the episodes). So she overreacts during the challenge. Apparently 15 minutes worth of it according to every single housemate. She only apologizes once she realizes what’s happening and who he is according to every housemate. Then after her apology goes on ig plays two face and calls it assault. Ginge does the funny two minute bit having the lawyer phone call skit. Amidst all this fans are hating on her because of her false life ruining, career ending, objectively false accusation. She took it too far so now the fans all collectively have a goal of taking it too far. Yes the collective makes it worse than what she’s done. But on an individual basis not at all. It’s a bunch of individuals each matching her ridiculous behavior. During all of this Ginge says he doesn’t condone the hate. Which btw he didn’t have to do, because he only operated within the bounds of his job on the show, to cause a windup.
