PIRATE NIGHT on the Disney Magic! | Very Disappointing Palo Brunch | Disney Cruise Day 3

- Day 3 on our Disney Magic cruise brought us to Nassau, Bahamas! For us, Nassau is an unofficial "sea day", as we never get off at that port and stay onboard to enjoy all the ship has to offer. We started our day with an early brunch at Palo, the adults-only restaurant on the ship. For the most part, everything was good, however, both myself and our friend were served raw chicken as part of their chicken parmigiana dish. How Palo handled this situation, which is definitely a very serious one, was extremely surprising to us. After brunch, we FINALLY won a trivia! We were so excited and that excitement carried over into Pirate Night, where we met characters, dined at Rapunzel's Royal Table again and saw fireworks at sea!

I think Iwouldhaveasked specifically for the manager after the chicken incident. I would've also made sure to talk to guest services if the mgr didn't handle it well. I would also give all the details in the survey.
We certainly did. After, we went to guest services, where they put us on the phone with the Palo manager. After a little back and forth, they sent some champagne to our friends room, but that was it. Didn’t offer to comp the meal (or even a portion of it) or anything. The whole thing was a very negative experience and I don’t think we’d go back to Palo on the Magic again.
Sorry to hear about your unpleasant Palo brunch experience Matt. That should never happen on any Disney cruise ship. i’m glad that you were able to rebound your day with the pirate night activities, the bandannas look great. looks like you had some really cool character interactions as well, that’s always so much fun. really wish they would bring back the pirate buffet at the end of the pirate night festivities.
It was a fun pirate night! I agree about the buffet. Would love to see that back.

Yeah it was pretty poorly handled (actually, wasn’t handled at all). We’ve been to Palo a few times prior and it was great, so we may give it another shot, but if this was our first time…we definitely wouldn’t be going back.
@@MattAndAlexVlogs I got heated because I’m like please be EXTRA careful with a table where someone is pregnant. I know no one wants food poisoning but come on. People often share in Palo and you have no reason to expect raw chicken in a chicken parm. Disney, do better
