Not at all! Disney does a really good job, especially on the HOTHS cruises of not having it be creepy or scary. Although we didn’t prefer the Wish’s Halloween tree lighting, it’s more princess and storybook themed. The Halloween tree lighting on all the other ships feels a little bit more like Ichabod Crane spooky. Not scary at all, just a little more of the fun, spooky vibe vs princesses. Everything else is all very good and family friendly! Feel free to watch our Halloween cruise on the wish from this past year, and our Halloween cruise on the Wonder in 2022 to see the differences!
There wasn’t any cooking classes on the Wish. I missed that. Don’t expect treats at Cove Cafe, but drinks will probably be fall themed and I’m sure Halloween themed treats at Joyful treats. And they should definitely have special drinks. I suggest skipping drinks at dinners or brunch and try different ones from bars. Amazing ones, can’t wait for your vlogs. I liked the Wish more then I thought. Hoping they announce Treasure cruises this Tuesday

Since it’s your honeymoon, focus on things you enjoy doing together. Also, try new things togetherness, new food, new experiences. Cruises offer so many “firsts” or new opportunities for everyone. We wish you both well and enjoy celebrating in October!

Is the Halloween theming like super scary, or like Disney/ kid appropriate scary? I’d expect with Disney that it’s not too spooky for the kids, but this will be our very first experience with any kind of Disney vacation so I’m excited but don’t want it to be too spooky.
I have only watched a couple of minutes and you said we are about to go on another one....but then you said on the Wish and I was so sad....I will be on the Fantasy in less than 2 weeks!!

In that case, you don’t need internet to communicate with each other! All you need is the Disney Cruise Line navigator app. When you get on board, you connect to the ships free Wi-Fi and use the Navigator app built-in chat function. The free version of the Wi-Fi does not include Internet, it just provides the functionality for the Navigator app. When you check in at the port, a DCL cast member will give you instructions on how to connect to the ship’s free wifi, use the app, and how the chat feature works 😊

The Treasure is rumored to do longer cruises. Wish probably won’t for a few years

We will be taking our first cruise. How do you keep in touch with no internet connection?

We didn’t get bags at all on this cruise, but they have plenty where they hand out candy. But they are small.
