@@MADDETAILING i really think that probably iron remover would be best cause its no super dirty and It has a Blue tip and I am scared of buying the MAD Acid and loosing that blue tip color
I was thinking the same it don't make sense why would someone leave their car with sand since Easter 🐇 and not do nothing about it not even washing it with the water hose it doesn't make sense
Love that you are still putting up the icons for the products for each stage of the clean. Don't beat yourself up over the state of the seats/carpets, here in the UK we have a saying, "the worse painted house on the street proberly belongs to a decorator". PS, if my brother did that to my car, I would still slap him! Lol Grest detail job 10/10 👍
Finally be able to relax and enjoy life for a moment. It would be a great opportunity during all this mess we’re in and have been. Great video as always! Keep up the great work!
Definitely gotta keep the Datsun driving in style. I'd use the 5 G's to get my old truck fixed up and help pay for my upcoming wedding. As far as vacationing in Florida man the beach and checking out the local car scene would be pretty epic. Love watchin what you do man. Good on you for taking the high road and dressing that Corvette up again.
I would keep the car,I had one when I was in the military brought back a lot of memories. And I love Florida, treasure island. You guys have the most honest cleaning channel on TH-cam,except one other. Great video.
O M G it was terrible that this baby was so disgustingly dirty ....but you came to the rescue and restored it to the beauty that was hidden underneath!! Great job. Always a pleasure watching you work!! 🥰
I love the look of this model Corvette, I reckon they got the styling of it spot on ,minus the mud of course, and the pop up headlights, glad it ended up looking choice 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗
As far as the car I would definitely keep it. My uncle had one and it would bring back great memories. The money would be invested in my detailing business and also some used to try and help someone less fortunate
Wow man! It is amazing to see the transformation. That Vette is wonderful rims, exhaust, the sound!!. I really liked the whole process, and how you went part by part achieving the result. I really liked seeing that you put the same effort and passion into your car and those of the clients. Keep it up, I really like your videos, greetings from Argentina. And.... well next time your bro make a joke like that, charge him with the cost of the detailing! LOL
I am surprised you used the white pressure washer nozzle. I would have thought you would have gone nozzle free or used the black nozzle to minimize the chance the water pressure would cause the sand to scratch the clear coat.
Bro sometimes these details seem fake like u script them but at the same time if they are who cares cause at the end of the day it’s a learning experience. Keep up the good work
I was wondering about the corvette when I saw it on last weeks video. I have to agree with you, that was a stupid prank and should never have been done. Thank you for showing us the transformation.
I would drive the car while in Florida to eat breakfast on one coast and dinner on the other. I would use the money to upgrade the stereo system and do any maintenance it needs then use the rest to drive it home to Kansas City. I used to detail for many years and I really enjoy your videos!
Such a beautiful Corvette I can't believe it was covered in sand. At first I thought it was mud but sand is so much worse. That poor car. If I had the money to enter the sweepstakes I would in a heartbeat. Cause I think it would be cool to hang out with you.
I LOVE that era of Nissan/Datsun cars so I would definitely keep it and share that experience with others. As for the money? I’m a sole proprietor pressure washing business owner who is the sole bread winner in my house so my wife can stay home with our son. I’d pay off some of my debt to breathe a little easier.. as for the trip? I live like an hour from Sanford lol. I would love to drive there and detail my truck with you! I used to detail my vehicles once a month minimum. Those days are long gone. 😩
Okay, so it depends. If you see yourself detailing long term, then yes, get a rupes 100% because it will last you forever. That’s what I did when I first started, and it was one of the best investments I made in my business in the beginning.
If i was in florida, first thing i'd do is visit your detail shop and learn any detailing tips and tricks and maybe even purchase some of your products to bring back home with me
2 great colors for that car would be a solid (no flake) neon blue or green. Or you could do a fade from one color, top to bottom, into another color. Ghost silver would be pretty cool or any ghost color. Maybe even a periwinkle would be amazing. Can't wait to see it wrapped.
If I was to win I would show off my new car and if I was to get need to get flown down there I would have you teach me to do what you do and hopefully make a career out of it because your videos are so satisfying to watch Love the progress that happens when you do these videos
I'm sorry you're brother did that, mine did something similar but to answer your question: 1. I would only use the car for date night and Sunday drives, 2. Money would be put towards school and 3. Never been to Florida so idk what I'd do. Lol glad you got the car looking good again and hope we don't see it again under those circumstances
"that's some awfully nice paint you have. It would be a shame if some sand got stuck in your polishing pad. " -the one grain of sand that vibrates loose from a crack
What polisher would you recommend for someone that's going to do just a few paint corrections like someone that's just looking to make his/her car look good
If I was lucky enough to win the sweepstakes, as much as I'd love to keep the car i would sell it and put the money towards building my detailing business. I'd love some time in the shop to learn more hands on with some of your products and some time at Universal.
Hello Foster, amazing video and transformation as usual! You’re the Best detailer hands down and I love how you handled this prank done on your car….family? Got to love them. If I should be so blessed to win the 1983 Datsun 280Z, I would keep it and with the $5,000 I would use this to transport it back to California. Would love to hang out with you for the weekend in Florida. Take care….

Bro if you we’re too remove a little bit of dirt and kinda like small rust from exhaust would u use Iron Remover or your MAD acid?
I have a subaru Impreza 02 with some type of stainless steel exhaust but its still getting that kinda dust rust coat over it.

Your vette is beautiful, i loved the wheels in combination with the black paint, and the sound is terrific, very nice build 👍🏼
Gotta straighten that exhaust though
where’s the sound?
If my brother ever did this to me we’d be fighting. But great detail nonetheless.
The C5 platform is aging so nicely
Beautiful Z...
This brings new meaning to "wet sanding" :P
Is your brother still standing is my question of the day. Great work as always.
That 280 ZX was my dream car when I was a teenager back in the 1980’s.
I would scrape up all the mud and sand off the shop floor and repay your brother in kind. 😈 Great work!

I hope you had him to pay for any damages that occurred from what he did. Your brother has one sick sense of humor.
Use a magic eraser on the steeringwheel with apc, u'll get the "new" matte look back and removing all the grease :)
