I am a Real Madrid fan and have watched many matches throughout Bale´s years in Real Madrid. Too many injuries, but he was almost unstoppable until he was 28 years of age. From there onwards his physical condition decayed. He wasnt as fasta and powerful as he once had been. He still scored important goals (his habilities were not inly speed and power), but his level was not the same.
Bale was so good with benzema and Ronaldo. His biggest weakness was his fans, always comparing him to Ronaldo etc.I miss prime bale with 5 UCL 😕 Zidane was also a big part of his downfall. Many are saying bale was as good as ronaldo and I agree but I am saying that he was compared not that he was terrible
Yeah am not a madrid fan. I love zidane, but fuck him for his treatment towards bale. After that final performance we would've thought things would go well for both of them but naa
Bale was the closest as far as ability to Cristiano, but he wasn't obsessed, strong minded, dedicated as CR7. I know Bale work hard to certain degree (I remember the 2nd season he was with Madrid, he was jacked), but it was never to the level of CR7. CR7 was essentially an freak, a person obsessed with winning which makes him more appealing to Real madrid fanbase.
Funniest thing ever: Hazard cost them more than 100M€ and just got snubbed by media and fans. He is 100 times worse than Bale's most awful performance, yet Hazard is simply left out of discussions
His inconsistency was our main problem but whenever he was in form, he won us trophies. Love the guy, was a beast at his prime, sad to see him retire, he had to go through our ( Madridistas ) extreme expectations. Most divided player ever but he didn't help himself by disrespecting our club.
I've never seen a left-footed strike as precise or as powerful as Bale when he was fit. This guy was one of the most gifted athletes the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, he was riddled with injuries, but bro, watch his highlight reels, and you will see a monster amongst mortals. This guy was above and beyond any player in his prime. I miss him so much. I'm only a year older than him, and seeing Ronaldo, who's 4 years older than me still playing, makes me sad to say he's only a glimpse in my football memory. FOREVER A LEGEND.
Bale was on some king shit tho. Wales. Golf. Madrid. Bro was wildin 💀 Real talk tho. I think Bale really wanted to have fun playing the game he loved and the economics, injuries, and drama surrounding him really fucked it up for him. Phenomenal player and probably the one i try to emulate the most
Bale had a career 99% of players would wish they had. Winning both champions league 5 times and 3 la liga titles as well as leading his country to the World Cup is enough.
I loved watching bale as a left back those first few seasons. Giving him all that room to build up speed as he made his dangerous runs forward, it was just a thing of beauty. He played with so much bravado then… he may have left his defense exposed, but that was just part of the allure of seeing his mad sprints forward. I’ve always wished he would have stayed in that position, at Tottenham or elsewhere… could have went down as the greatest left back ever.
Actually some are saying that Gareth Bale may have been the greatest British player of all time... however I think Nick Faldo or Rory Mcilroy may have something to say about that...
Only for the fact that he refused to play for England because he's a Welshman, puts Bale, in my book, among the greatest. Not because he refused England (with the possibility to win big trophies than Wales would never win), but because he stayed true to himself. Many get lost in the fame, riches turbulence.
I'm saying this before even completing the vid and probably didn't have to. The guy career is already successful, whatever criticism some people might say but this man winning lot of trophy in his league career and even bring his national to WC for first time in dacade also not mentioning that he save up tons of money and on top all that he still 33 years old. He did everything right in his career
I feel myself getting older and older. I remember playing football manager games where Bale was 16 years old and easily the best youngster in the game. There was no cristiano or messi in the simulations but there was Bale. He played with my teams till he was in his late 30's
I really thought he would start scoring 30+ goals a season after Ronaldo left in 2018. But his level only went down from there (obviously due to injuries).
Bale is one of the very best. He is a true Legend of the game. 2 UCL winning Goals, Total 3 Goals in UCL finals, That CDR Solo goal,2016 Euro Epic performance for Wales, Taking Wales for a world cup and Legendary performance vs Inter Milan. A complete footballer who can do it all, Left foot, right foot, headers, Free Kick, Solo Goals, Speed and crossers. Not to mentioned that he had to adapt to new positions twice. One from a Left back to left wing. and then in Madrid Left wing to Right wing. Guess what he become world class at all of those potions. Later Part of his career He had a fall out with Zidane and fan. If not for that he would have had even better career.
I mean the fact that he gets to retire at 31 should tell you that he was a success . That might be the end of his career, as a fortballer. But He's a millionaire that will enjoy the better years of his life you imagine 31 retired and a millionaire that's the life bro he made it.
As a die heart Madridista, literally the only thing that I hated about Bale was that he was made of Glass. Never talked ill of him, we won lots of finals thanks to him
Hey man, I just came across your channel and binged watched a lot of your content, thank you. I like the one you did of Roberto Baggie and Romario, can you please do one for (Alberto Edmundo) and possibly (Roberto Carlos) too? both of them have very special careers and lives, especially Edmundo nicknamed (O Animal). Another good one would be Bebeto too, haha oh and George Best, thanks man 🙂
Yeah.. feel like he's got a lot to offer for at least 2 more years. 33 is such an early age. Serie A would be a good place or even back & retire at spurs.
I kind of hoped he would go to Milan after leaving Real where he would get in good shape for World Cup 2022. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Still it's not sad that he retired. His career was great and he doesn't need to do anything anymore. It's better to retire at the age of 33 than being one of those footballers who force themselves to play until they're 40.
Bale was an true incredible player with great power mine set I really want him to still play football 😭 even though I am a Barca fan but I love the way how Bale play the game of football 🐐👽⚽🏆🥇💪
Say Bale in Madrid ? What comes to your mind - that goal against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final - that overhead kick goal against Liverpool in the UCL final
Honestly, Bale always had a place in my heart as someone who could have easily been one of the best, but couldn’t because of others. The fact that zidane kept him as a sub just because of his person feelings, yet he still managed to lead Madrid to a trophy is really upsetting. He gets constant hate for no reason. Really? Bale isn’t allowed to be mad? But when someone like Ronaldo does that exact same thing, he gets support.
@@galaxyknight7309 Double standards Washed Ronaldo in Man UTD 2022 gets mad and constantly plays bad, gets benched and is angry at the club. Everyone supports him. Gareth Bale still in his prime, gets benched and is mad about it, nobody cares. That’s why he retired

Lol, Bale is not even close to being a club legend. A club legend does not disrespect the club or refuses to leave just so they can continue to get paid, I'm sorry
@@BubblesChika Actually, you have a good point. Like I said Bale was key in the success of Madrid despite him not helping himself for his poor actions at Madrid.
@@lwandomadikizela2213 For sure. He contributed to a couple of trophy triumphs, premarily as a impact sub. I would say he was closer to being a Ramsey/Ole-like cult hero than a legend, especially given his whole inconsistency He never really held down a starting place at Madrid and never managed to score a 100 La Liga goals, only managing 80 in total. After Ronaldo left he dropped off a cliff, too, only managing 14 goals and 7 assists in all competitions (8 goals and 4 assists in the league) as Madrid failed to win the league, got battered at home by *that* young Ajax team, and got destroyed by Barca in the copa de rey They never reached another UCL final until he basically stopped playing, only playing 7 minutes in Madrid's 20/21 UCL win over Liverpool. So, yeah. Legend would be stretching things. Cult hero would be closer, but he threw that away with his poor behaviour
@@BubblesChika True words to that. Bale fell off the moment Ronaldo left Madrid. He was supposed to be the star post Ronaldo but that didn't work out. At least Benzema stepped up in otherwise a very poor Madrid season. I would say the same thing about Isco failing post Ronaldo but that's another story for another day.
I been a madrid fan since i gained conscience, I love Bale, but us Madrid fans are a different type of fan, we dont ask for the players to do well on the pitch for us it’s excellence or nothing… that had always been troubling for everyone involve to the fans coaches even the guys that keep the field
imagine if we had signed bale halfway through the 09/10 season, we would've tied our league best [6th], get in europe and would've stayed up the next season [whilst also winning the carling cup]

Brazilian international and world class bale made him look .. average at best and Tottenham beat Jose inter Milan and it was bale the guy was unstoppable.. he's made a fortune out of football.. won things in football no other boy from Wales that just love's sports has ever done.. Ryan Giggs but he never played in a international tournament.. bale a guy from Wales that likes playing football.. can now retire at 33 and even tho they Madrid fans hated him .. he scored some of the most important and beautiful goals in big games.. that the fans will always remember.. he's only human but when given a chance and in important moments he done it on the pitch.. Madrid fans talk about guti and others.. how many overhead kicks did they score how many important goals did they score and there Spanish.. bale is from Wales and he won Madrid Trophies
I mean I would say he was an absolute success in life, despite him being a Madrid player and scoring that stupid crazy goal on Barca in that Copa Del Rey Final. I actually always respected Bale a lot him indirectly trolling Madrid was always funny
15:06 how is bale a failure??? Like that’s not a question anyone asks and if u do u should really watch some bail highlights he was crucial in a lott of games
Nothing happened "to" him. More like Real Madrid just happened to itself. When you sign for this club you should know that your options are limited. It's the adaptability to a status quo, your relationship with Spanish media, and especially with the coach. IMO he did what he wanted to do, he wasnt the kind of player to aim for 5 ballon d'ors or whatever, guy just did his thing and let life fall into place. I respect this approach instead of the footballers that devote their entire life to football for their entire lives in order to be the greatest. He's a genuine cool guy and a natural athlete.
A playing style based on huge speed and power will ALWAYS expose the exponent to injury. His bank balance suggests he was a success. He should consider embarking on a management career because he understands and has been a victim of the politics the game.
There's not 1 player in the world that could compare to Bale when his heart was in it....He carried Wales for many years to places we couldn't have dreamed of, if he hadn't been second guessed by Zidane he would have been talked about as the GOAT. It's hard to imagine that Ronaldo or Messi could have got us as far as this guy, Great players but not to carry a team, thats different. It helps that his early career he was a Right back so knew how to read both ends of the pitch. The funny thing is he could speak Spanish very well but this only came to light after he retired and the press had no control
I had Bale the number 3 in the world at one point even ahead of Neymar for one season! What a great player at his peak even if his body was made of glass 🤣

Can't believe Real sold Ozil for bale, smh

@@user-mh6nm5mv4b Agreed but he's not even top 10, players like xavi iniesta lewa are better than him he is definitely top 15 tho imo
There's no doubt, he was a major success. He always delivered when it mattered. He was unlucky with injurys and Zidane and Mourinho both treated him like crap.
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this channel and how much it has impacted the love and perspective I have for football. I’ve seen most of the videos and saw that this was the most recent one and decided to comment on this one to get more attention and give more appreciation. I absolutely love this channel and respect the amount of time, work and energy spent on making these videos. Just know you have fans out here like me who will always watch your videos and leave a like! Much love bro 🙌
This man got me into loving football and for that reason he will always be the goat in my eyes
His biggest weakness was his fans, always comparing him to Ronaldo etc.I miss prime bale with 5 UCL 😕
Zidane was also a big part of his downfall.
Many are saying bale was as good as ronaldo and I agree but I am saying that he was compared not that he was terrible
@@serz1885 wrong
Bale was every bit as good as Ronaldo, but he didnt have his mental strength or resistance to injury.
@@danskyl7279 he was indeed a freak
Funniest thing ever: Hazard cost them more than 100M€ and just got snubbed by media and fans. He is 100 times worse than Bale's most awful performance, yet Hazard is simply left out of discussions
His inconsistency was our main problem but whenever he was in form, he won us trophies.
Love the guy, was a beast at his prime, sad to see him retire, he had to go through our ( Madridistas ) extreme expectations.
Most divided player ever but he didn't help himself by disrespecting our club.
when was the last time, u madristas ever respected a club legend after he played for ur club.
When u disrespect someone that person has the right to block u out and thats what he did u guys did not appreciate him and that's what it's about
Those beautiful free kicks he scored. He faced a lot of criticism. He,Benzema and CR7 led Real Madrid to many UCL's
Wales. Golf. Madrid. Bro was wildin 💀
Real talk tho.
Bale was one of my favorite players. Such a great talent. He had plenty of great games and awesome goals to look back on his career.
I thought Bale retired to focus on his Golf career ? Sometimes life is like that, a new passion might come to our lives and we can’t avoid it .
Actually some are saying that Gareth Bale may have been the greatest British player of all time... however I think Nick Faldo or Rory Mcilroy may have something to say about that...
LMAO
Goated TH-cam Channel
Only for the fact that he refused to play for England because he's a Welshman, puts Bale, in my book, among the greatest.
Not because he refused England (with the possibility to win big trophies than Wales would never win), but because he stayed true to himself. Many get lost in the fame, riches turbulence.
The games against inter made me think he will be on Messi and Ronaldo level at the time.. it's a shame he wasn't consistent..
Keep it up Lucas, I haven't even watched it yet but i konw its gonna be great

Agreed
If Real Madrid fans consider Guti a legend, then so is Bale.
Only respect for Bale. I always loved him playing. And yes, he is a success. Most definitely.
I feel myself getting older and older. I remember playing football manager games where Bale was 16 years old and easily the best youngster in the game. There was no cristiano or messi in the simulations but there was Bale. He played with my teams till he was in his late 30's
He is 34 he is not in his late 30s more like mid 30s

He is one of my favorite players
Man... still an absolute legend in my books
This man deserves the best icon card
The only player after neymar tot reach a level that was known for messi and ronaldo. Unfortunatly, only for a short time
I mean the fact that he gets to retire at 31 should tell you that he was a success .
Another good one would be Bebeto too, haha oh and George Best, thanks man 🙂
He's my hero of all time no matter how ppl bad mouting him. I'll always support and repect you no matter where you are, legend .Gareth Frank Bale
What a football player he was! He deserved a better end. I would've liked to see him in the Serie A. At Milan or Inter👍🏻
Yeah.. feel like he's got a lot to offer for at least 2 more years.
It's better to retire at the age of 33 than being one of those footballers who force themselves to play until they're 40.
i loved Bale more when he was in Spurs with Modric`
Nobody misses him specially in Madrid. After 6 years in Madrid he was not able to say hello. His attitude was not very professionell
Legend of Football who lived his footballing life the way he wanted to never letting anyone fuck with him.
Bale was an true incredible player with great power mine set I really want him to still play football 😭 even though I am a Barca fan but I love the way how Bale play the game of football 🐐👽⚽🏆🥇💪
Say Bale in Madrid ? What comes to your mind
- that goal against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final
- that overhead kick goal against Liverpool in the UCL final
Honestly, Bale always had a place in my heart as someone who could have easily been one of the best, but couldn’t because of others.
The fact that zidane kept him as a sub just because of his person feelings, yet he still managed to lead Madrid to a trophy is really upsetting.
He gets constant hate for no reason.
Really? Bale isn’t allowed to be mad?
But when someone like Ronaldo does that exact same thing, he gets support.
Hey don't bring Ronaldo in to this he did nothing wrong
@@galaxyknight7309 Double standards
Washed Ronaldo in Man UTD 2022 gets mad and constantly plays bad, gets benched and is angry at the club.

Gareth Bale still in his prime, gets benched and is mad about it, nobody cares. That’s why he retired

Hi sir, could I ask you something, what's your microphone ? That sounds amazing
Bale is one of the most disrespected Madrid legend despite winning silverware with them. Yes he didn't help his cause by antagonizing Madrid but he was a key player for Madrid.
I would say he was closer to being a Ramsey/Ole-like cult hero than a legend, especially given his whole inconsistency
He never really held down a starting place at Madrid and never managed to score a 100 La Liga goals, only managing 80 in total. After Ronaldo left he dropped off a cliff, too, only managing 14 goals and 7 assists in all competitions (8 goals and 4 assists in the league) as Madrid failed to win the league, got battered at home by *that* young Ajax team, and got destroyed by Barca in the copa de rey
They never reached another UCL final until he basically stopped playing, only playing 7 minutes in Madrid's 20/21 UCL win over Liverpool.
I would say the same thing about Isco failing post Ronaldo but that's another story for another day.
watching this video made me realize how underrated he is 🔥
He was an incredible player. He was also an incredibly injury prone player.
Bale is a legend 🤍😌🤍
Here within 25 minutes LUV Urr channel
imagine if everyone supported him, how much better he would have been (he was already killing it so hard)
Bale is a legand👉🏾💯
I remember Tottenham Vs inter Milan champions League.. my manager at work let us take a extra break to watch it.. very unlike him but it was back shift and wee had been working for hours wee usually worked through our last break to get home.. but he must have had a bet on and wee had already got most things done.. and seeing bale rip one of the best right backs in the world..
The most disrespected player in Real Madrid is actually Casillas...
imagine prime bale with haaland and prime cristiano as a team, all at same age. how sick that would be
As a real Madrid fan I love bale he is a LEGEND he is in my top 10 favorite players
I compare bale to Angel Di Maria, both some of the best players ever, but both criminally underrated and often also overshadowed by other greats
Any who disrespects the turncoat Real fans has my respect.
I mean I would say he was an absolute success in life, despite him being a Madrid player and scoring that stupid crazy goal on Barca in that Copa Del Rey Final. I actually always respected Bale a lot him indirectly trolling Madrid was always funny
He's pretty good in this year's fifa tho.
I never saw bale scoring a tap in.......all his goals are worth watching..madrid legend in my opinion
Real Madrid stopping him from going to China on that 1 million deal a week is crazy.
A playing style based on huge speed and power will ALWAYS expose the exponent to injury.
His bank balance suggests he was a success.
He should consider embarking on a management career because he understands and has been a victim of the politics the game.
2:55 Bale did the siuuu first... Ronaldo stole the celebration from him.. jesus christ.. Ronaldo just taking Ls at this point yo
He will always be a success yes there's disappointment towards the end but the success he achieved overshadowes it imo.
11.4s 100m is incredible at 14 years old. I definitely think he would’ve ran at least 10.8-10.9 in his prime years. Top 5 signing spurs ever had.
Your accent when you say Real :D
Love it
he still plays in my fifa team. Respect to him.
Football is a dark place, as of any entertaining sport. Hence the sacrifice you have to make...the 100 million sacrifice.
The way he was treated by Madrid was disgusting!!! He was a phenomenal player, he deserved more than they gave him in terms of respect.
People don’t realize how toxic Real Madrid is.
No
I had Bale the number 3 in the world at one point even ahead of Neymar for one season!
What a great player at his peak even if his body was made of glass 🤣
