    Interestingly the Pairing Button on the Sender device was never even mentioned in the manual.
    Thank you for the video.

    Thank you very much for this Filip. Just got the Unfi Doorbell pro and ordered a Honeywell. Your video made my life a bit easier.

    Nice movie, bought the same setup and got it working

    This worked well for me, and it isn’t a lot of work. Allowed me to restore the chime functioning for the unifi 4g pro which recently began resetting when the doorbell was pressed. Thanks!

    I set this up myself a while ago after following the guide on the forumand everything works great aside from one issue. My setup has been up for over a year or so and my coin battery has run out. I thought it was no issue but any new 3V coin batteries just don't work. It burns through almost 1 coin battery every 5 days. Any idea how to have this setup wired and not needing the battery?

    • @on7fd
      @on7fd  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know if it works without a battery. I had the same issue with my Google Nest. The battery must be lithium batteries. maybe this is also the case here?

      @@on7fd Hmm, not sure cos they're deffo lithium ion. Testing different polarities on the wires, as I might have muddled them up. After closer reading of the manual, bearing in mind I'm no electrical engineer, I don't think it's possible with a video doorbell to have it without a battery

    Where did you store that big transformer at? Just got one for mine thinking I could store it inside the chime box but is huge

      I placed this in the fuse box of the house.

      Hum, mine is on the other side of the house how can I figure which cables are the one going to the current bell? If that bell is some how connected to one of the others do I just replace that with the 24v one I acquired? How would it work since the one everyone’s buying don’t have a safety switch then?

      @@BenGieCruz You must ensure that the cable used is used exclusively for this purpose. I was fortunate to be able to pull an exclusive cable.

    We have the same setup in the office. I want to connect a second doorbell for our door in back. Can I connect it the same way to A2/AC2 and use the same chime?

    • @on7fd

      I haven't tried this yet, logically I think it should be possible.

    Is that possible to connect two or multi chime for different floor wirelessly?

    • @on7fd

      Think this should be possible. Take a look at Honeywell range I'd say.

    Hi, Can you confirm whether you have a small voltage (~1.5V) across the leads that go to the Honeywell unit from the Unifi dongle when the doorbell button has not been pressed?

    • @on7fd
      @on7fd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, this is indeed correct.

      I'm now experiencing ghost chimes when the doorbell switches in and out of night mode (when the infrared LEDs turn on/off). Do you have any issues with ghost chimes?

    • @on7fd
      @on7fd  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@garethball3600 not at all, is the distance not too far between the wireless converter kit and the chime?

    • @garethball3600
      @garethball3600 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I don't believe that to be the issue, the Honeywell wireless converter unit itself is being triggered (orange led flashes) when the doorbell enters or exits night mode.
      Is your setup as shown in the video, with the supplied transformer? I wondered if my transformer was part of the issue (18vac 36VA) but it's within spec so shouldn't be! There are other reports online of ghost chimes that coincide with the IR LEDs
