Seward Alaska is one of my favorite Alaska towns...thank you for showing us the great people that live and work there. I am looking forward to more Alaska adventures with you both ! As a 74 year old NW singer/songwriter I cannot wait to hear more of your original music. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Blessings on you both.
So happy you are joining us on the journey! Yes, Seward is an amazing town, right?! And thank you for the kind comment about my music! More coming in a bit! :)
After spending three months traveling Alaska the same year you did in out tiny camper we can’t get enough. That’s how we found your channel. It’s fantastic ! We can’t stop watching.Great content and awesome work we also love your music. Thanks so much for this content
Another video that was sublime in the beauty of the visuals and perfection in narration, editing and background music. A lovely, 20 minute treasure sharing, interesting, uplifting - really of a quality as good/ better than any TV travel show, but with much more sincerity, real experience and heart.
I’m SO Glad that a few years back, at Mario’s Restaurant and Whale Watching, I was holding two extra whale tour tickets from a couple of my fellow travelers who decided not to join us on the whale tour that beautiful morning in Guererro Negro, Baja California Sur. I remember thinking, it would be great to put these two extra tickets in the hands of two appreciative people. Like a “miracle” at a Grateful Dead concert. And just as I had that thought, there you TWO beautiful souls were. So glad we met. So grateful for the amazing whale shots José Luis sent me. And SO happy to see you spreading your love, music, intelligence and joy all over the planet. The trip to Seward was awesome. Muchas Gracias Amigos.
Hi Scott, we are so happy you are enjoying our videos! We can't believe it has been a few years since we met in Baja! We will never forget that special day and your kindness! Muchas gracias for watching amigo!😀
Ty , this story brought me tears of joy❤ at a much needed time in our current conditions of propaganda and forced division of our own beautiful citizens. God bless you all🙏🏼
It is supposed to get up to 108 degrees in Portland, OR today. 104 yesterday. 106 tomorrow. The rest of the country (and world) is also experiencing record-breaking heat this year. I've been watching the Alaska in Winter series from Cora and Jose and I feel so chilled. Who needs air conditioning when I can watch this series over and over again? Thank you, guys, for creating such a top notch travel log. The quality of production is right up there with National Geographic.
Wow, thank you so much, this is such a nice comment! We are so happy you are enjoying our videos of Alaska, welcome to our beautiful youtube community!🤗
You're one of the first TH-cam channels that truly embraced Alaska instead of trying to make it like back home. It gets tiring seeing tourist come thru and say there is nothing to do. Boring people will always be bored and not chat with locals. I appreciate you learning a bit about the history of Seward and becoming part of the community through XC skiing, music, ice fishing, local celebrations, and home gatherings. Thanks again for sharing this with your audience.
Thank you so much for such sweet comment! How can you be bored in Alaska right? Nature provides so much fun and beauty, and the locals are just awesome! For us, meeting the locals is one of the best things about traveling🙂
I loved this video. I been wanting to move to Alaska for so many yrs but still working through the SSI disability process. But it's a dream of mine. Thanks for showing the winter time simply amazing.
Hi there, thank you so much for watching! Our next episode will come out next Sunday, (hopefully), and it will full of beautiful moments of art, music and community in the interior of Alaska. Stay tuned🙂
I can so relate to this video, after years of shoveling many long driveways. Well done on recapping your winter. Cheers to the next season of your Alaskan journey.
Your videography and running commentary are fantastic! It reminds me of the few good days I had in school sooooooo long ago! Would love to see an extended video of the children singing their songs.🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵👏👏👏👏👏
Cora and Jose: Amazing! Archival photos, graphics, overheads, frozen scenery, community and just perfect narration from Cora. Many thanks for letting me escape to my happy place. I have to get back, looking forward to once again experiencing nature "in its winter form."
I just camped at Trail River Campground for 4 nights of my 9 night first time trip to Alaska a few weeks ago. Beautiful campground and lake view for the sunrise. Loved it, can't wait to go back.
Hi Alfredo, we are so happy you enjoyed the video. We had to change the hour because the video wasn't uploaded in time to premiere it earlier, but next week video will go up at the regular time. (hopefully🙂)
Wow, this is an amazingly beautiful production!! Great work. What an adventure to experience winter in Alaska! And, no on jumping into the water. I am too much of a warm water guy!
Let me say that I appreciate the production value, cinematography, narration and more. But, all you do is wax poetic. I'm from there and it's not as rosy as you paint it. It took me leaving to realize that rampant alcoholism, undiagnosed mental health disorders and largely inaccessible healthcare doesn't have to be the norm. The nature and surrounding environs is impossible to overstate, though.
Hi there, thank you so much for watching! We do understand that there are many issues in Alaska as there are many issues in others parts of the US and the world. Our aim with our videos, as visitors to this beautiful state and other places we visit, is to focus on the positive side of things. We are pretty sure that the news and probably other TH-cam channels cover extensively those issues you mentioned on your comment, so we prefer to leave that to them.
👋POLL TIME! Would YOU jump into the frigid waters of Resurrection Bay? Why or why not?
The younger version of me would have in a heartbeat. The older version would no longer have a heartbeat after.
Hahahaha, well that is honest!! It is pretty risky business!@@roncarguy72
I would sky dive, bungee jump, paraglide, but definitely not jump into those waters. Sooo cold.
A hard no! 😮
I’d def do it.

Those elementary kids will always remember the time you spent with them being musically creative
We hope so! That is our aim with the murals and workshops - to plant a little seed :)

It's never-ending work, right??? The place we'll be staying at this winter has a snow blower. We might be OVER THE MOON excited about that! 😁
