I hope so. I stopped playing for a while and was in the mood to start my Teyvat adventures again! Kinda sad that there are weapons that I missed from past events including Festering Desire ofc. I hope this HSR implementation will somehow get noticed by the Genshin Devs. Fingers crossed! 🤞
I only started playing Genshin in 2.3 so yeah I’d love to get my hands on Festering Desire specifically, maybe also the Fish claymore. There’s a few others that even newer players would want like Cinnabar Spindle, though that was probably the last truly irreplaceable one we got, maybe Mega Magic Sword cause it’s such a good stat stick.
I'm honestly hoping Hoyo could release more event LCs. Considering the low frequency of new 4-star LCs added to the pool + the added feature of being able to buy past event LCs them, maybe allowing them to release more event LCs be prove great in terms of diversifying gameplay?
They do it every other patch For example if the current patch gave a free character selector, the next patch would be a free event LC, then a character and so on

The same thing happened in Genshin. We got Festering Desire and then the vast majority of event weapons since have been fairly mediocre (with a few niche exceptions).
This is incredible for me because I'm a week 1 player, but my computer died during Jing Yuan's banner and didn't get repaired until literally the day after the BTTMS event ended and I have been LIVID about that for forever now! FINALLY, we get justice!
The Silver Wolf event cone is so good I figured they'd probably do something like this eventually. I have all the event cones, so it doesn't matter for me, but this will be great for other players.

The biggest problem with Gendhin jot getting their event weapons in a shop is that theh dont have a shop to put them in. Star rail put the event light cones in the herta shop. A shop thats designed to reward players for playing simulated universe weekly. The closest thing we have thats similar is the Theatre but the key rewards are for cosmetics
Honestly pretty great but considering the new event LC isn't here im going to assume that only really old event LCs are gonna be available so you'll still have to do the respective events if you want the event LC right away
They'll probably add new event light cones to the shop in subsequent versions, just like whenever a new gacha 4-star LC releases it gets added to the standard banner one version later
This is a massive incentive to pull SW for anyone still wanting to get her, yet hesitant bc of it being so damn hard to get her burst's utility consistently w/o Tutorial.

Whether or not the light cones are good, I just appreciate them being available in some form for players that missed them, like if they're new players or were taking a break when they came out. (And I do also hope Genshin Impact follows suit one day, I want to slap some enemies with a giant fish.)
The only thing I'm intrigued by is the BTMS, but the only characters i can use it on are Pela, JQ and Welt. Though Welt i don't use. As for JQ and Pela, I only use those two in Acheron team and have Pearls of sweat on Pela, so it probably would be less likely to swap pearls of sweat off Pela cuz that would make me always have to use Pela skill for Acheron stacks and very SP consuming. As for JQ, i have eyes of prey, which allows him more dmg.

Isn't Tutorial an underrated choice for Kafka ? After all, her main job is to detonate other people DoT, as often as possible (and possibly gather SD stack for Acheron). With her FuA, she should get massive amount of free energy, guaranteeing a 2 turn Ult without ERR rope (when paired with Black Swan) : that sounds pretty interesting, especially in triple DoT or DoTcheron teams.
You just ult a bit faster (she already ults pretty fast if you play her properly) but end up sacrificing a lot of DoT that you detonate with that ult. It's way wiser to give the lc to Black Swan, since not only she benefits from the EHR, but she also gets more ults on average with it, which is important given that her ult mechanic and debuff only last for 2 enemy turns. That said however, it's still a sizable dmg difference from Eyes of Prey s5, let alone her signature, so many people don't prefer using Tutorial. But at the very least it has way more worth than on Kafka

In a Dual DoT team with Black Swan, Kafka deals around a third of team damage. And her share of the damage goes lower in Triple DoT or DoTcheron teams...
Make sure people save those Herta bonds and do the weekly reset! I have like 17 Herta bonds left Edit make that 17 Herta bonds lol (so I can get a good 4 star light cone)
Was just building my robin the other day, and the LC I heard everyone saying you could get for free from penacony, I realized it was an event and I was very stumped as to what to do, then they adding them to Herta shop later after event is such a nice thing to do, you either get it from the event, or pay 2months of tokens in the herta shop, it's quite fair and I'm so happy man

Sustain Welt wants tutorial more than anything. Run pearls on Pela and there you go.

Tutorial needs a def down debuff for the bonus energy to work.
