I just found your channel and I’m loving it! Thank you! …Also, instead of setting an image as a background I have been going to “edit theme” and adding it there. The quality is much better and I haven’t had any issues when I use this with students. Again, thanks for making such helpful videos.
Question - I teach Illustrative Math and actually taught Eureka 2 years prior and have all the slide shows that I created. I can post those? I thought all of their content was copyrighted so posting to sell was not possible.
Do you know how to secure a PowerPoint product to sell in TPT? I have saved some of my products as "Read Only" file but there are website links that I have embedded into my PowerPoint that won't work in "read only " mode. Thanks for any advice!
Thank you so much! Feel free to let me know if you have any topics you'd like me to cover. I want to make sure the info I'm providing is what people want :)
I have just listed my first product! For the first one, the free one, I did not see where to put a Preview, just thumbnails. Also, to have a link in a pdf, I have to have a paid version of Adobe, correct? I make my PDF worksheets in Canva, and flatten when downloading, so I don't think a link will stay "live"?
I teach mostly physical science (9th grade) and am starting to make a teachers pay teachers store. My challenge is what format to put things in. Where is the balance between protecting your intellectual property versus making it user friendly for the buyer? For example a lot of elementary teachers on you tube recommend uploading PDF's so they can't be easily altered and resold. However I also know that every assignment I do is posted on my course webpage (password protected) and I know other high school teachers also are required to post assignments. A PDF is not editable by students which is again not user friendly. Also it seems like TPT only allows you to attach one file. So if I want to include additional info like answer keys and implementation guides then the teacher would have to snip out the student worksheet portion and make a new pdf. What are your recommendations?
Hi! TPT does allow you to list an entire Google Drive folder so you can put all of your additional files into that one folder and list the folder. The buyer will get a copy of every file that is in that folder. If you don't want to link it directly through your Google Drive, you could upload a PDF that is only being used to give the buyer access to the files you want them to have. What that means is that your PDF would have live links to the files you want the buyer to have (therefore the PDF is not the actual product, it just links to the product).
Ah great video thanks! I usually use PowerPoint and save them as PNG's and insert all of them in one go by going to inser photo album. It usually stays a bit crispier ( I don't even think that's a word😂)
Yes, so many creators say to use JPG files but PNG files are better! They don't lose data, which is why they are crispier (and I DO think that's a word!) :)
Great tips. Thank you ! Question , do you know how people make those popular little clipart characters. I see them everywhere. Or where they get them from ? Also, where do I get my graphics and pictures from ? I don’t want to get in any type of legal problems 😬 thank you!!!!
Hey Karina! I'm not quite sure which little clipart characters you're talking about. Maybe the melonheads? If so, you can buy those and other graphics right from TPT! Search for the specific type of clipart you're looking for (Halloween clipart, etc) and some stuff should come up. Just be sure to check that they allow you to use them for commercial use. Some clipart artists require you to buy an additional license from them in order to use the images for commercial use but it should be clearly stated in the description of the product. I hope that helps!
@@teachertechfiles thank you! I think those are it but I see them everywhere. Gotcha , I’ll have to read deeper then. Thanks !!!! Do you have a video on how to turn documents into digital assignments for either google slides or seesaw ?
@@KarinaTorres-kc9mo I have a video that shows you how to turn google slides and PDFs into Easel activities which are digital activities. It's titled "TPT Easel Tips and Tricks". Try that one and if you have any other questions or if it isn't quite what you're looking for, please let me know :)

Thanks for your videos! I've started working on making previews. What do you set your slide dimensions in PowerPoint by making it a PDF?
Hi! My slide dimensions are 8x8 inches. I hope that helps!
