Thank you! I got more information from this 16 minute video than I did an hour long webinar I attended recently. I will be looking through all of your videos now! Very helpful, thank you for all of your hard work!
You are an angel for making this step by step so easy to follow! I am very computer illiterate and have always been nervous to venture out into the TPT world. You have given me so much motivation and excitement to try it on my own now! Thank you, and I will be looking at your other videos as well!
Love this video! Super helpful. I’ve always wanted to sell products but have always been afraid of copyright issues! Is crediting the creators considered enough to avoid copyrighting? I’m assuming I’ll use fun fonts and clip art too as I can’t draw that well on the computer! So basically what I’m asking is - how do you make money off of your products when using other peoples products? If that makes sense! Thank you!!
This is super beneficial! I’ve been considering making my own TpT products, and will totally refer to this when I do. Thank you for putting this together, it makes me more motivated to reach that goal. 💜
@@courageouswithcrayons4827 Question for you, I am just curious since I am wanting to do this too. Do you have to ask permission to have another source used as inspiration for your own TpT lessons/materials? Or does citing it like you did do the trick? I am just wanting to know so I don't make any mistakes haha. Thank you! 😊👍
Thanks for sharing! I was trying to find a video to start my Tpt and this helped a lot. I have a question though, if I use pictures from internet, how do I give credit to that? Thanks
Thank you so much for the video! Sorry for the silly question, but can you please explain why you had the content appear twice/duplicated on each slide?
Not a silly question at all! I duplicate the content on all of my book products. Really, it for ease of use for the purchaser. If you duplicated the content, you will be able to get two books when you print the entire product. If I’m just making a worksheet, I don’t duplicate it! Did that answer your question?
How do you get your clipart again from PDF toolkit ? Can you get them from Canva as well or is there another place you get pictures and lettering from ? THANK YOU =)
You mentioned that you have collected clip art for a long time. Is this clip art that you created or that you bought and have rights to use? I loved your video. Thanks for sharing.
This is a very helpful video, I never thought about a credits page I was just writing them in my description but I will be making a page now! 1 question, I've read that it's a good idea to include copyright at the end of each page of your work. Is there a reason why you didn't include this?
I have actually been working on that it in my more recent products. Now I have Courageous with Crayons in a very small font at the bottom of each page. I’m also working on making a terms of service page!
Thank you for the tutorial. It's very helpful. I have a quick question. If I purchased all the clip art and the fonts I use in my products, do I still need to include a credits page? Or is the credits page only included if I use free clipart or fonts? Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I downloaded the PDF toolkit right away since this has been the easiest way I've seen to flatten the product. I also bookmarked the video so I can refer back to it. I do have a question. Is there any way to keep the clickable links that are in the credit page? I am talking about the links to the artists stores whose products I used. I can no longer click on their links after flattening the document. Thank you for the great video again! :)
This comment made me smile! That’s actually a great question. Flattening the product does take the ability to use a link away. What I’ve started doing is making the credit page on PowerPoint but not flattening that particular slide. I’ve done research and found that a number of people use Adobe Pro, but I’m not quite ready to make the investment yet!
@@courageouswithcrayons4827 well, your answer made me smile 😃 thank you so much for taking the time!! I will definitely try that. I looked into Adobe and I’m also not ready for that investment since I’m just starting out. Thank you for your time and keep up the great content! ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼❤️
I have created a TPT product to share with other counselors using a font I bought, however, whenever I share that resource, the font changes when the other counselors download it. What do I need to do to my product to stop this from happening? Thank you so much!
Does the font change when you download it from your Own TPT store? My biggest guess would be that it is changing because the other counselors do not have that font downloaded on their computer!
You can use whatever your comfortable with! I personally use an Apple computer and I know a lot of others do as well. The most important thing is that it has a decent amount of storage and the ability to download programs like Microsoft!

Yeah. How you doing today.?
I purchase all my clip art. A lot of people do make their own, but I’m not nearly artistic enough for that!

It depends on the seller! Check the terms of service on the products you bought, sometimes they require credit and sometimes they do not.

Mine is from KG fonts. You can just search traceable font and purchase one you like!
@@danwilfert4135 quit just quit creeping this is a Q & A for respectable teachers not your match making SITE!!!!!
Dumb question maybe but why did you make it double for each page? I may have missed you explaining it.
Not dumb at all! It’s so that teachers can get two copies of the book per page.

You have to make your own templates! Otherwise you will be dealing with a lot of copyright issues.
don't waste your time with TPT.
thank you for this wonderful tutorial! could you add a link for the pdf toolkit that you are using please
Absolutely! I’m actually working on a video now talking all about options to flatten PDFs. It will be out Monday!
