One Piece Episode 1015 Got A Hater Hype! (Reaction)

- Hello beautiful friend of TH-cam :) Today my brother and I reacted to One Piece Episode 1 and 1015. I have never watched One Piece before, and my brother is current with the manga. Episode 1 was really nostalgic for me, and brought back a lot of toonami memories from my childhood, classic intro too. Episode 1015 had some absolutely insane animation and CRAZY coloring, like holy smokes it's actually so beautiful haha. I'm introduced to some ugly characters like Big Mom and the 20 foot Giant Kaido. Luffy hits Kaido with a FAT punch and turned the sand into GLASS!!! (hot hot hot) Definitely moving that One Piece needle further along the more reactions I'm doing.. who knows, maybe I'll go all the way! @@astrosanimelab2234 btw in that last episode they're fighting when it's snowing in the roof, so Luffy's punch doesnt turn the ground/sand into glass because of his hot punch, it's just animation coloring transition.
Kaido and big mom r extremely powerful so luffy being able to knock him down was too hype for fans 😆

@Dio The way i scaled law and zoro was through pure feat, as we saw zoro was able to hold out kaido just for few strikes but on the other hand law was holding out big mom when kid was down for far longer time, not to mention the amount of damage law did to big mom is far more then what zoro did to kaido, also in the fight againts big mom, law did like 70-80% fo the damage, then after wano law by himself was holding him self againts black beard, aka the future treat to luffy him self
@Dio also one more thing, law and kid is showen through story countless times to be rivals to luffy, yea they are weaker then him but the fact that they are the ones that is showen to the rivals of luffy is feat it self

I'm gonna answer your question.. I've been watching One Piece since it started. I also read the manga every week.
One Piece is definitely something you should start. It's one of my favorite anime, but to put it into perspective, the top selling comics of all time are Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man - or at least they were, and they've been around since the 1940's or so. One Piece is now the number 2 selling comic of all time and has only been around since 1998. It passed Batman for number 2 all time in the last couple months.

@@astrosanimelab2234 Yeah. I think One Piece currently has 20 million more comics in circulation than Batman does. Superman is still at number one with 600 mil, but again.. Batman and Superman have been around since the late 1930's and One Piece only got started in '97-'98. That's a solid 50+ years on One Piece. I'm a HUGE Batman fan, but it says something about One Piece when it's hitting numbers worldwide in 20 years that others took 50+ to get to.

@@astrosanimelab2234 Maaaannn.. It's RIGHT THERE. I been into One Piece since it came out and I had no idea until last year either. It's insane in Japan. I knew that. But it passing Batman and Spider-Man and being so close behind Superman surprised the hell outta me. One Piece is definitely legit though. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video called The Appeal of One Piece. I think the TH-cam channel that did the video is called Super Eyepatch Wolf.

Great video, also the big three is luffy, naruto and ichigo. It's not a debate it's literally a term made for them. Goku set the foundation for the big three though.

I re-watched One piece twice from 1 - 1000, though the second time i skipped some parts.
Fuck yeah man. I literally suggested to watch 1st and last episode and you had it already recorded lol. So basically if this doesn't convince you to dive head first in this masterpiece then I don't know what will lol

I started One Piece last year 20 June, and caught up this year 4 April. Bro 1000 episode is nothing to me now! but you shouldn't focus on catching up, focus on understanding and bonding with the story from each Arc!

After *finally* catching up to chapter 1000 in the manga, I knew I had to go back in time and see your reactions here. As always, did not disappoint. So cool to finally see what slowly started pushing you further into your current One Piece journey. Also amazes me to see how drastic the difference is between these episodes. Like, Luffy grew *a lot* since then. lol
