'GLAM' threw away their high heels and came back with their second single "I Like That" on January 2nd. Through 'I Like That' GlAM tried to mix the 90s dance music with 2013's sensation.
They recreated [Why do you] of Chuli and Miae in to 21st century version by sampling it. It also re-made the ttaemiri dance, moon-walk, and tourist bus dance of the 90s! Wearing the clothes of 90s, GLAM will who us the sentiments of 2013. We will anticipate the works of GLAM who came back with 'retro 3 beat' which are dance, song, and fashion!

Suga Sunshine yeah but these girls are limited to only one concept (badass). look at the current top groups in korea and they can at least do a variety of cute concepts that consists of fairy-girl, magical, space, etc. you have red velvet who are one of the most successful girl groups and they can do a variety of concepts and are incredibly versatile, but i get it. it’s all about the badass concept, and that’s all that matters for shallow people like you. plus even if glam existed they won’t be successful as koreans prefer cute and happy concepts over arrogant concepts.

@@kimorakay one member in the group, along w a friend of hers, blackmailed a famous actor for money, supposedly due to bighit neglecting glam so she wasn't making money. glam was also initially a 5 member group but one left shortly after debut. there were rumors it was bc she was a sasaeng (stalker fan) of leeteuk of super junior. what really brought them down was the blackmail scandal. they were considered nugus (unpopular) until the scandal, then everyone knew them solely from that and instead of trying to clean their name up or only punish the one girl, bighit disbanded them and now doesn't accept female trainees. they even got rid of all the other female trainees that were training under them to avoid another scandal, as if male idols aren't capable of the same thing. it really wasn't fair to the other girls in glam or the girls still in the company
And that's why they doing another entertainment source music and they created a new girl group GFriend Bighit is for boy group only and of the source music is for girl group only

Something I really liked about this group was their concept. If they had stayed together, they might have changed girl groups. I like that they don't go for the typical cute concept, but they actually tried to experiment, very similar to BTS. Glam isnt your typical girl group. BTS isnt your typical boy group.
I mean, their concept and style wasn't too much different from a lot of girl groups who debuted in the early 2010s. There were a lot of groups trying a more cooler concept because that was the trend at the time. But It would've been cool to see these girls go far, especially given the meaning of some of their songs.

@@celinedollbasically how they debuted before bts and how bighit would at the time have a hard time managing glam along with the “bts” trainees at the time. So they ended up terminating some trainee contracts. Glam debuted at the time bts were still training and stuff that’s pretty much it lol
