It is a true testament to the functionality of the safety gear. It feels good to get up from what you know as a bad wreck and after checking all of your arms and legs and thinking " holy shit, I didn't feel a thing". Dont get me wrong, He definitely felt that the next day. possibly even that evening.

IOM TT for Austria! Lauter Verrückte am Berg, nur nicht so lang wie bei der TT! Respekt zollen oder Vogel zeigen, man schwankt echt zw den Extremen! Hoffe es gingen alle Stürze glimpflich aus. Und am Montag soll man wieder gemütlich mit maximal erlaubtem Speed hinter den Autlern in ihren Blechbüchsen hertrödeln. Was für ein Stress ! 😇🏴☠

Kann man da auch als privat Fahrer auf der abgesperrten Strecke fahren,also kein renntempo,nur flotter,halt abgesperrt wie beim Rennen???
@@alikaraTR54 soweit ich weiß ja... Du brauchst ein technisch abgenommenes Bike und musst dich halt zeitig vorher anmelden. Aber mehr weiß ich nicht

It’s got to be one of, if not the hardest sports to master.
You can’t practice in a foam pit and you’ve got to learn every track, in different weather conditions, etc.

Exactly. I use to ride street bikes - not at speeds like these guys, but I got good on mountain roads & you quickly realize just how many adjustments to body position, gears, braking you can use to maximize speed thru corners. If you get a chance to go to a superbike race in person, Monterey, CA holds a race every Spring.

Comes from screaming 19k rpm V4 crossplane with both piston moving the same way each bank. So yeah, it's corssplane with almost flatplane sounds. Amazing

I'm a great fan of italian Road race, this race is awesome and fucking fast! I want to be there next year. I hope to see some of Austrian and Fench rider compete in the second round of European Hillclimb Championship in Italy, to be more precise in Tuscany, near Arezzo.

I was speaker in Varliano I remember him well. As for Spino, 2nd Sunday race went bust as Vaga Bond Claudio Fioravanti died shunting his Harris Cagiva.
