Thank you. Landlord built me a THREE FOOT gate, and I was planning a huge project today to convert a section to a gate. However...this video reminded me to just take a section down for my firewood deliveries - 2x per year. Easy peasy. Thanks for the idea.
Hey guys. There is a couple of other ways. External frame on the back side w/ vinyl attached to it. No fails. Also I designed an steel internal frame set up so you nothing to look at except the vinyl and no sag. I've done that for customers that don't use it all the time and it's so economical for them.
i want to build a 12 foot gate in 2 6 foot sections they are attached to 6x6 post buried 4 feet down with 6 bags of concrete. should i still put a post in the middile like you guys did or do you think it would be ok. note we dont get crazy wind here
This can’t be an option. You have to Put on a course for the home owner to dismantle their fence every time they want to park their RV. Can’t you provide another option like a fixed wheel to support the weight? SWI what’s going on?!
This customer said this gate would be very rarely used, it's more of a "just in case" gate. We talked about coming up with different options and he preferred this plan because there's no chance of failure. A wheel requires flat ground for the entire swing radius of the gate, which he definitely didn't have. A metal frame possibly? But that would be more of an experiment for us and he didn't care to be the test subject. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks.

People forget SWI is in Wyoming. The wind is brutal there. This is a great option for the situation. Good work fellas 👍

We discussed a metal frame with the customer, he preferred this plan.
