@@mphomalgas8704 yes they were , things like this have happened several times in Hollywood and half of the time they were given a second chance , especially since this was 5-7 years ago and people can change in that time frame and not hold those same ideals . For example , in the mid 2000’s to mid 2010’s there were comedians always saying sexist and racist things . It was the thing of that time , everyone made jokes like that . And when everyone got called out on it now , most of them didn’t get canceled . Cancel culture is horrible when it comes to this . Just cuz u said stupid jokes years ago , shouldn’t affect u and ruin ur career and life now . Everyone has made mistakes and said things before . If you made a mistake or said something bad once when u were younger and dug it out years later and called u out for it and it ruined ur career , wouldn’t u be upset ? Yes Eibard Thawne was in the second season of Legends of Tmr and was actually one of the 3 main enemies. It was a Time Remanent but got killed by a-imma stop spoiling now XD

Hartley getting fired was actually unjust, those tweets were from years ago, he changed.
Alot of people's prospective is that he was still and adult when he said what he did, so many people feel like he is still responsible and I can see where they are coming from.

So I think it’s very unfair with how they’re dealing with it. We’ve all said stuff in our life that we regret. When I first read Hartley's tweets, I was totally disgusted. Like, even if they were all jokes, that kind of shit makes me feel sick. I couldn't believe someone as influential as Hartley could have made said tweets. But when I saw when they were from, of course, it doesn't take away from the fact that he still said those horrible things, but people change. That's one of the major arcs in the show- heck, it was his own character's major arc. So that's ironic. I looked up The Flash ships and ... I saw coldflash and a very detailed image.
I love how this video has 1 case of a racist getting fired for tweeting racist stuff, and 1 case of patty being fired for personal reasons by an unprofessional director, and yet the comments are full of exclusively dudes defending the racist.
People are way to sensitive these days. Imagine not getting over what happened in the PAST and not giving people second chances.
They even fired Hartley from the gag reel.. lol
