I use to have a church family for 24 years. I finally just made myself leave. I miss having a church family very much. But couldn’t endure the changing doctrine. It gets lonely not having like minded people

People lost their homes, jobs, and others committed suicide after the Harold Camping debacle .. And as you’ve listed, many other dates have come and gone. When will people learn from God’s word rather than man made doctrines.... This is a very miserable and negative way of being part of the body of Christ.....It’s grey and lifeless with no hope for the future. There’s no joy, but we are His mustard seed, growing and flourishing the kingdom, and there are new believers coming to Christ every day, despite severe persecution in many parts of the world......We must be of good cheer and forget about raptures and antichrists and tribulation and mark of the beast.... Not Paul, nor any of the apostles, were told when Christ would return. Why would I not believe 1 John 3:2-3? That change happens at the resurrection of the dead/rapture which no one knows the timing of. My expectation of Christ's return has nothing to do with whether I am saved or not. Yes, eagerly waiting keeps you with Christ's return as hope and keeps your eyes focused on Him. It is not what saves you, though. I am already saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. He paid for my sins in full 2,000 years ago and I have put my faith in Him alone and His blood atonement for my sins, His death, burial, and resurrection from the dead. Paid in full and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise once and for all. It is about whether you have put your faith In Christ and His finished work on Calvary that saves you. That is the gospel. Sadly we felt our church was great but very click-ish. We tithed religiously. I don’t know what we did wrong but didn’t feel close like family. Maybe so many wolves in sheeps clothing they are afraid to let anyone in? We study on line. So sad because we long for a church family. So heartbreaking.

Our current generation is the one in which shall experience the Lords' return. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to me, it was related to me by way of the Spirit of the living God. There is much more but it will have to wait.
3. The Place Jesus Gathers the Saints In 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Paul states that believers who are alive will be “caught up” with the resurrected saints to meet the Lord in the air. This fits well with Jesus’ description of His return for us in John 14:2-3 where He take us back to His “Father’s house.” He does not come to the earth, but gathers us to Himself in the air and then takes us to His Father’s home in heaven. This differs significantly with passages related to the second coming. Rather than catch us up to meet Him in the air, Jesus returns to the earth, defeats His enemies, and sends out His angels to gather both living believers and unbelievers before Him for judgment (Matt. 25:31-46). He gathers both believers and unbelievers on the earth. Do you see how this differs significantly from the rapture passages? Rather than meet believers in the air as He does during the rapture, with the second coming Jesus sends out His angels to gather His elect on earth to another place on earth (Matt. 24:31). Furthermore, it’s likely that the reference to the “loud trumpet” in this verse limits the “elect” to the Jewish people who are called to Jerusalem (Isa. 27:13). - Jonathan Brentner

I was going to a church I really loved. I loved all my brothers & sisters very much & I had been there for 7 years when , because of all the signs in the world people started asking questions & when the minister started teaching what he called the truth, it was borderline anti-semitism. Then, we were told that when JESUS said, " It is finished" it did away with all prophecy in the Old Testament. They taught " replacement theology". They said that everywhere it said " ISRAEL" in the scriptures it really meant the church. I knew it was a lie. I struggled with leaving for about 6 months then finally left. It is incredible how many churches are teaching this lie. They have been taught that in college & kept it going. I was hurt so deeply that I couldn't bring myself to go church hunting again. I have found a man from Illinois who I know is teaching truth & I love him as a true brother. I saw one of the elders at the store & after some conversation I told him that if you didn't believe the prophecies in the OT that it, to me, was like calling GOD a liar. he didn't say anything to that. I believe there are more prophecies that haven't been fulfilled in the OT than in the NT! I told him to read ALL of Romans' 11 !!!!!!!
Like the rest of higher education, Satan has infiltrated the seminaries and bible colleges. They have twisted and allegorized the Word in order to support their own anti-semitism. Their ignorant students buy into it, and go forth to infect their equally ignorant flocks. When pastors claim that God meant "the church" when He plainly spoke of Israel they're not only intellectually dishonest, they also demonstrate their willingness to be pawns of Satan's end-time deception. There was an article I read somewhere that said almost all 1st year seminary students believe in the deity of Christ,the virgin birth, and 6 day creation. By the 2nd year, the numbers had dropped about 30%, by the 3rd year it dropped even more by the time they graduated 80% of seminary students NO LONGER BELIEVED THESE THINGS AS TRUTH. This was a recent article, in the the last 10 years or so.

Events which are seen as imminent can never be said to follow upon some other non-imminent event, for that would establish a precursor to the imminent event thereby destroying its imminency. This is a key factor in favor of the pretribulational rapture of the Church. For if the Church remains to witness the signing of the 7-year covenant by Antichrist (Dan. 9:27‣) or the abomination of desolation (Dan. 12:11‣; Mat. 24:15) as pre-wrath and post-tribulational rapture positions teach, then the coming of Jesus for His church (1Th. 4:17) is no longer imminent and the Church will begin to watch for Antichrist rather than Christ! No other prophecy in the Bible remains to be fulfilled before the imminent event occurs. Therefore, if two prophesied events are imminent [the rapture and the beginning of the Day of the Lord], neither can precede the other... If both the rapture of the church and the beginning of the day of the Lord are occurrences that could come at any moment, the timing of the rapture is not open for debate. The only way that both events could be imminent is for them to be simultaneous. If one preceded the other even by a brief moment, the other would not be imminent because of the sign provided by the earlier happening. This fact constitutes strong biblical support for the pretribulational rapture. The doctrine of imminence forbids the participation of the church in any part of the seventieth week. The multitude of signs given to Israel to stir them to expectancy would then also be for the church, and the church could not be looking for Christ until these signs had been fulfilled. The fact that no signs are given to the church, but she, rather, is commanded to watch for Christ, precludes her participation in the seventieth week.

It is inconsistent and illogical to teach an imminent rapture, assert that Matthew 24 is for the Jews, and then discuss "signs" for the rapture and use the verse out of Matthew 24 about no one knowing the day or hour as a rapture verse. If anybody responds, please use the Bible to show me even one verse where the church or the saints are ever promised we will escape tribulation (thlipsis). We are only promised not to face God's wrath (orge).

Like the 1st coming, which was overcast period of 30 years (birth, pre-ministry, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension), the 2nd parasouia is not a singular action in which all prophecies are fulfilled in a single day. This would be the way some post-trib teachers interpret the passages. However, they are including the Day of the Lord and His wrath as part of the great tribulation. On this, they actually interpret the great tribulation period (including God's wrath) the same as pretrib teachers. Some would label what I believe as pre-wrath. I have not given it a catchy simple name but I believe 1 Thess 4 and 5, coupled with 2 Thess 2:1-5, and other passages have the harpazo actually initiating/starting the Day of the Lord. Per above, this "day" is not a 24 hour day. I actually believe this "day" is 1000 years long with the first part of that day being judgment on the beast and his minions. To answer your question, per Zechariah, all of surviving Israel (1/3) will repopulate the kingdom. "It will come about in all the land," Declares the Lord , "That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. "And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The Lord is my God.'" ZECHARIAH 13:8-9 NASB Zechariah also supplies the answer for the nations that will populate the kingdom Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, there will be no rain on them. If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. ZECHARIAH 14:16-19 NASB

People lost their homes, jobs, and others committed suicide after the Harold Camping debacle .. And as you’ve listed, many other dates have come and gone. This is a very miserable and negative way of being part of the body of Christ.....It’s grey and lifeless with no hope for the future. There’s no joy, but we are His mustard seed, growing and flourishing the kingdom, and there are new believers coming to Christ every day, despite severe persecution in many parts of the world......We must be of good cheer and forget about raptures and antichrists and tribulation and mark of the beast....

Not Paul, nor any of the apostles, were told when Christ would return. Why would I not believe 1 John 3:2-3? That change happens at the resurrection of the dead/rapture which no one knows the timing of. My expectation of Christ's return has nothing to do with whether I am saved or not. Yes, eagerly waiting keeps you with Christ's return as hope and keeps your eyes focused on Him.
It is not what saves you, though. I am already saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. He paid for my sins in full 2,000 years ago and I have put my faith in Him alone and His blood atonement for my sins, His death, burial, and resurrection from the dead. Paid in full and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise once and for all. It is about whether you have put your faith In Christ and His finished work on Calvary that saves you. That is the gospel. Our current generation is the one in which shall experience the Lords' return. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to me, it was related to me by way of the Spirit of the living God. There is much more but it will have to wait.
3. The Place Jesus Gathers the Saints
In 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Paul states that believers who are alive will be “caught up” with the resurrected saints to meet the Lord in the air. This fits well with Jesus’ description of His return for us in John 14:2-3 where He take us back to His “Father’s house.” He does not come to the earth, but gathers us to Himself in the air and then takes us to His Father’s home in heaven.
This differs significantly with passages related to the second coming. Rather than catch us up to meet Him in the air, Jesus returns to the earth, defeats His enemies, and sends out His angels to gather both living believers and unbelievers before Him for judgment (Matt. 25:31-46). He gathers both believers and unbelievers on the earth.
Do you see how this differs significantly from the rapture passages? Rather than meet believers in the air as He does during the rapture, with the second coming Jesus sends out His angels to gather His elect on earth to another place on earth (Matt. 24:31). Furthermore, it’s likely that the reference to the “loud trumpet” in this verse limits the “elect” to the Jewish people who are called to Jerusalem (Isa. 27:13).

** Musterion in Scripture takes on a completely different meaning and does not refer to truths know only to a select, initiated few but in contrast was is a previously hidden purpose of God which when uncovered is understood by the Spirit-taught believer. In other words musterion signifies those truths which are part of God's plan and can only be understood as He reveals them by His Spirit through His Word. Musterion is a truth which without special revelation would have been unknown and thus is commonly used with words denoting revelation or knowledge (e.g., "to know the mysteries", (Mt 13:11), "revelation of the mystery", (Romans 16:25) or "made known… the mystery", Eph 3:3)
The secret counsels of God remain hidden from the ungodly (to them they are a true "mystery" as the word is commonly used in English) but when these truths are revealed to the godly, they are understood by them. The mystery is not in the fact that the truths are difficult to interpret, but that they are impossible to interpret until their meaning is revealed at which time the truth becomes plain.

I was going to a church I really loved. I loved all my brothers & sisters very much & I had been there for 7 years when , because of all the signs in the world people started asking questions & when the minister started teaching what he called the truth, it was borderline anti-semitism. Then, we were told that when JESUS said, " It is finished" it did away with all prophecy in the Old Testament. They taught " replacement theology". They said that everywhere it said " ISRAEL" in the scriptures it really meant the church. I knew it was a lie. I struggled with leaving for about 6 months then finally left. It is incredible how many churches are teaching this lie. They have been taught that in college & kept it going. I was hurt so deeply that I couldn't bring myself to go church hunting again. I have found a man from Illinois who I know is teaching truth & I love him as a true brother. I saw one of the elders at the store & after some conversation I told him that if you didn't believe the prophecies in the OT that it, to me, was like calling GOD a liar. he didn't say anything to that. I believe there are more prophecies that haven't been fulfilled in the OT than in the NT! I told him to read ALL of Romans' 11 !!!!!!!
Like the rest of higher education, Satan has infiltrated the seminaries and bible colleges. They have twisted and allegorized the Word in order to support their own anti-semitism. Their ignorant students buy into it, and go forth to infect their equally ignorant flocks. When pastors claim that God meant "the church" when He plainly spoke of Israel they're not only intellectually dishonest, they also demonstrate their willingness to be pawns of Satan's end-time deception. They most definitely aren't being lead of the Holy Spirit, but darker entities.

There was an article I read somewhere that said almost all 1st year seminary students believe in the deity of Christ,the virgin birth, and 6 day creation. By the 2nd year, the numbers had dropped about 30%, by the 3rd year it dropped even more
by the time they graduated 80% of seminary students NO LONGER BELIEVED THESE THINGS AS TRUTH. This was a recent article, in the the last 10 years or so.

Events which are seen as imminent can never be said to follow upon some other non-imminent event, for that would establish a precursor to the imminent event thereby destroying its imminency. This is a key factor in favor of the pretribulational rapture of the Church. No other prophecy in the Bible remains to be fulfilled before the imminent event occurs. Therefore, if two prophesied events are imminent [the rapture and the beginning of the Day of the Lord], neither can precede the other... If both the rapture of the church and the beginning of the day of the Lord are occurrences that could come at any moment, the timing of the rapture is not open for debate. The only way that both events could be imminent is for them to be simultaneous. If one preceded the other even by a brief moment, the other would not be imminent because of the sign provided by the earlier happening. This fact constitutes strong biblical support for the pretribulational rapture.
The doctrine of imminence forbids the participation of the church in any part of the seventieth week. The multitude of signs given to Israel to stir them to expectancy would then also be for the church, and the church could not be looking for Christ until these signs had been fulfilled. The fact that no signs are given to the church, but she, rather, is commanded to watch for Christ, precludes her participation in the seventieth week.

I am not a troll. As for rightly dividing, this is a KJV interpretation and simply means correctly interpreting, not chopping out huge portions of the Bible as not being for the church.

Jan, JD, etc. treat orge as being the same as the tribulation. The word for tribulation is thlipsis. Although we are not appointed to orge, we are promised tribulation by Jesus.

Again, Paul uses thlipsis (translated as affliction). When will this Greek gentile church cease having thlipsis? If Paul had been inspired to write that they would face tribulation until we are rescued prior to the great tribulation, then there would be no debate.

It is inconsistent and illogical to teach an imminent rapture, assert that Matthew 24 is for the Jews, and then discuss "signs" for the rapture and use the verse out of Matthew 24 about no one knowing the day or hour as a rapture verse.
If anybody responds, please use the Bible to show me even one verse where the church or the saints are ever promised we will escape tribulation (thlipsis). We are only promised not to face God's wrath (orge).

If the rapture occurs at the second coming as your suggesting how does the earth get repopulated during the millinnel kingdom? You cant say unsaved people enter into the millennial kingdom mathew 13 30 50 Mathew 25 41 clearly shows that all the unsaved people that are alive on earth when jesus returns are cast into the lake of fire and John 3 3 jesus himself tells us that you must be born agian to see the kingdom of God and the millennial kingdom is Gods kingdom on earth.
So the bare minimum requirement to enter into the millennial kingdom is you must be born agian so how does the earth get repopulated during the millinnel kingdom if the rapture occurs at the second coming?
Is there a reason you dont keep Israel Gods chosen people and the church the spiritual seed of abraham as separate entities with different destination during the millinnel kingdom?

Like the 1st coming, which was overcast period of 30 years (birth, pre-ministry, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension), the 2nd parasouia is not a singular action in which all prophecies are fulfilled in a single day. This would be the way some post-trib teachers interpret the passages. However, they are including the Day of the Lord and His wrath as part of the great tribulation. On this, they actually interpret the great tribulation period (including God's wrath) the same as pretrib teachers.
Some would label what I believe as pre-wrath. I have not given it a catchy simple name but I believe 1 Thess 4 and 5, coupled with 2 Thess 2:1-5, and other passages have the harpazo actually initiating/starting the Day of the Lord. Per above, this "day" is not a 24 hour day. I actually believe this "day" is 1000 years long with the first part of that day being judgment on the beast and his minions.
To answer your question, per Zechariah, all of surviving Israel (1/3) will repopulate the kingdom.
"It will come about in all the land," Declares the Lord , "That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. "And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"
