Yes. The perfect “diy” project for all the average people that happen to have a commercial drill press and a lathe just laying around.
You beat me too it lol
lots of people do this as a hobby. including me.
You just got to find the friends who know how to do that❤. And you have to be willing to do equal time in your craft for a trade
Exactly!!
What a joke!!
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm a do your self gal and that's outta my league. I'll stick to my small inexpensive projects, thank you very much.
Lovely! One question: what happens to the loads of epoxy shaved off? Is it reusable Or does it poison the, earth in some way?
Poisons the earth. These ppl waste more than they use
It goes into the dump or ocean unfortunately. As cool as it is, epoxy resin is not a very environmentally friendly art form 😔 It keeps me from getting into it myself...
Lol 😆
I wondered the same thing
There are resins that can be made from corn starch, that do the same things as plastics. Look up corn starch resin on TH-cam.
I wonder if he would make one for me to buy. My dad was an artist before he died. I’d love to buy this in his memory .
I just ❤ the tooth pick lamp , it reminds me of either under the sea or alien worlds , it is awesome ❤
Tooth pick lamp was the best for me
The walnut one is the embodiment of "trust the process"
Man’s made a gillie suit when he made the one out of tooth picks!
Wow that's Gorgeous 🥰
Sure is beautiful, but what happens to all the epoxy shavings? Can it be reused?
I LOVE the one with the nut shells, absolutely gorgeous! 🤩❤
The toothpicks one was my favorite
Kya banda hai ye yaar. Amazing 😍 salute
Great work.
Beautiful work. ThankU for showing us. And don't pay attention to those idiotic remarks! Plz keep posting for the rest of us.!
Both are Beautiful! Awesome work and design!!! ❤
Love those lamps
You are talented. Every video that I have seen, has been amazing. Thank you for sharing your art
Number two lamp gets my vote 👍
I loved your job. So creative 🎉
All I want is a plastic straw for my Slurpee...I cget called a turtle killer. Sigh, this is nice too.
Epic workmanship ❤
Amazing, creative and beautiful…..And a lot of work involved ❤
Very creative 🖤:)
Wow so amazing 🤩
Nice work!!
Seems like making the resin, where you glued the leds, smooth and glossy, would make the light quality better? Or does the glue sort of even that out?
چقدد عالی 👍
Nice 👍🏽
good DIY but too bad i wont be making it.
Very creative and Talanted 😊
I gotta say i had hope for the straws but it came out pretty terrible.
The one witr the pointy sticks turninf into a forest was a nice surprise, tho. 🙂
Very nice work!!
What a creative way to recyle! Great job!
Okay, the toothpicks and the walnuts actually kinda hit, tho.
How much is it to have you make us one ! ?! Seriously
Does anybody know how to color the resin? Is it alcohol Ink
I'm sure it's a special kind made just for it just Google search it
That's one way, yeah.
Maybe epoxy resin ink?
Why is it yellow?
Because he used a yellow epoxy resin (I am assuming you are referring to the straws lamp)
I think because he used warm white LEDs. They are a softer light than a bright white so are often used for lamps
Mda dys, tokarilica mi je ispod kreveta i skuplja prašinu...
I like how they label this video as "diy" yet the average person does not own half the factory grade machines in this video. Cool lamp tho. I guess.
And people wonder why we have micro plastics in our food and bodies.
Ahhsuwi
You should call it ocean garbage
mtt
With plastic straws going for premium prices on the black market in Canada right now why would anyone waste such a commodity on a cheesy looking lamp?
All those micro-plastic...🧐😷
What a mess. Looks good though. Health hazard galore.
Do it yourself? I just happen to have grinders and saws and goggles and other machine shop stuff in my closet. Get real.
Nah.
I hope those are recycled 😂
DIY? 😂
That is whole lot of scrapping and cutting of toxic material to put into our environment for a glowing straw. We need to rethink our art and not create more hazardous materials to put out there.
This looks so bad! 😂😂😂 Why would you want a messy ball of trash and plastic on your table?
Meh.
Epoxy? Really? It's 2023 already. Epoxy is so over. Thankfully.
Says who?
Lol what does that even mean?
this seems so satisfying on so many levels beautiful💙💚🩷💜
