At the edge of the universe, in the deepest, darkest pit of Hell, when V1 succumbs to the cold and the fuel’s all gone, this is the song that’ll be playing.
Nothing better than contemplating my existence over the past two years with this in the background. That nicely answers the question of “How did I get here?”
This song is the sound of perfect closure. When I'm on my deathbed, with 10 minutes left, I will play this. I will reflect on my life and how I lived it. See the good, the bad, the lovely, the ugly... everything. Every moment of my life. I will have done everything I wanted to do. A long and fulfilling life, ending with this. And I will look to death and accept it, for the fire may be gone... ...but I remember it the best.
This song is to all other songs like the British flag is to all other flags. God DAMN this shit is good, and it’s unfair to even compare it to most other songs when you involve the context. P-tier work, Hakita.
@@websilly It is though??? Like, there’s a reason that they’re on sale even in other countries. I live in the USA, and they’re on sale over here. It’s a damn good design.
I’ve never played ultrakill, nor even watched any gameplay, and I know only a small bit about it, and this music more or less single handedly has made me want to play it, and with the small amount of information I have, I can’t help but listen to this, and see the 200 and something locomotives rusting away in South Wales, on Barry island, actually, no, it’s not the engines at the yard I see, it’s the remnants of that yard, and the single remaining locomotive there, with little to no trace of the world famous scrap yard that once was there, where more than 200 steam locomotives went to be executed, now just one, number 92245 is left, an engine which I wouldn’t be surprised if my grandad was one of the people who built it, The age of steam is dead The scrapyards have closed The fire is gone

MANKIND IS DEAD.
HELL IS ERADICATED.
THE FIRE IS GONE.
...
AND I REMEMBER IT BEST.
Love this music.
I know it was made before Ultrakill, but feels like it gives so much weight to 1 phrase from it:
"Mankind is dead"
BLOOD IS FUEL
@@tranzient hell is full
this song makes me want to dissolve into thin air, but in a good way

MANKIND IS DEAD
BLOOD IS SCARCE
HEAVEN IS SILENT
HELL IS EMPTY

THE FIRE IS GONE
In the end, it was a war without reason
MANKIND IS ANNIHILATED.
BLOOD WAS FUEL.
HELL IS EMPTY.
...this is the only way it could have ended...

The opening track for this album has a rather slower tempo for the music box part if you already knew.
