Its really great to see your beautiful face after months! I am also a psychology graduate from overseas and I am appyling to NHS jobs for 8 months now and I failed in 7 interviews. I dont have any hope right now and think that I am not gonna succeed ever.. Especially with needing a sponsorship it feels like I dont have a chance at all.. But I am watching your videos over and over again, including old ones and it really gives me positivity and hope! I just wanted to share my experience and thank you for sharing yours. ❤️
Glad to be back! It’s a really tough career to get into but just know that you’re not alone! I had to apply to 19 Assistant Psychologist jobs before even getting an interview for one! Wishing you the best of luck
@@thespectator1362 Hello, you can apply all of the roles that are connected with your degree. Role examples for psychology graduates; Assistant Psychologist, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Health&Wellbeing Coach, etc. All you have to do is read job description, essential/desirable criterias. And good luck, hope the best will come to you soon!
Thank you SO much. Have my interview coming up soon so not currently facing a rejection, but after the maths and literacy test I’m not feeling overly confident and want to be prepared for all outcomes. Appreciate all of your content and it’s some of the only Clinical Psychology content on TH-cam that helps me feel prepared and confident rather than overwhelmed and anxious.
If it’s any help, I thought I did really badly in my numeracy test but still managed to get a place. I don’t think it’s weighted that heavily! Very glad my content isn’t anxiety provoking!
Thank you for the super helpful video! Having videos with other trainees sharing their experiences with getting onto the DClinPsy without AP experience would be very cool and informative.
Glad you're back!T hank you for your helpful video! I've been following you and I wanted to ask if you could make a video for people who wants to move in in UK and start working as a clinical psychologist. Unfortunately, coming from another country makes this process more difficult. However thank you so much for sharing your experience! You give me so much positivity!
Currently doing a Masters conversion in psychology and aiming to apply for the DClinpsy this year. Do you think doing an MSc will count towards research experience as I’m doing a lot of research assignments including my dissertation? Your videos are so helpful, glad you’re back 😊
Yes a masters definitely counts towards research experience. And if you try and get your masters piece published that will help even more! Glad to be back!
Hello, I'm from India and interested in persuing a DClinPsy degree in the UK. It would be very helpful if you could let me know what kind of membership should I apply for under BPS .
It is (unless your course centre has an experience requirement of more than 2 years, but I don't know of any). However, if your PWP training was funded by the NHS, there is a waiting period before you can do another NHS funded course like the DClinPsy.
Thanks for all your help and support ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!

Hey, I'm also a Psychology graduate from overseas, could you please let me know whether overseas students are eligible to apply for NHS funding.

Really helpful thanks! I agree - a little prayer goes a long way and what God has for you no one can take away ✨😊
Agreed! But even for those who are not religious, a minute of meditation is powerful to get your head in the game!

Is 2 years as a psychological well-being practitioner only sufficient experience for applying for the dclinspsy
