- Xenoblade Chronicles Future Connected is set one year after the main story. The world is at peace, the different known races are working together, and the restoration of the world is underway. Shulk suggests that Melia set out to find the capital of her people, the imperial city of Alcamoth. They are flying aboard the Machina's Junks while they are attacked by a light ray coming from a mysterious black fog and crash into Bionis' Shoulder, located near Alcamoth.
A strange phenomenon makes bits of land on the Bionis' Shoulder rise in the air and float. Two Nopon named Kino and Nene join Shulk and Melia. Kino is a young Nopon who wants to become a hero like his adoptive father, Riki, but is afraid of strangers. Nene is Riki's and Oka's daughter and Kino's adoptive sister, although she treats him like a son. They are both very strong fighters.
Despite having a new weapon that resembles the Monado, Shulk no longer has the ability to see the future as before, due to wielding the Replica Monado during the final battle against Zanza. A variety of enemies populate the Bionis' Shoulder. However a new type of enemy, called Fogbeasts, are acting in the shadows and will give a hard time to the party. All over Bionis' Shoulder, Nopon rangers named Ponspectors can help the party and even unlock their own signature attack.

I remember in the main game a heart to heart where shulk mentions he doesnt have a family to go home to so riki goes "you come home with me, we be family now". I think he said the same to another character too but i cant remember which one
Gamez X I have a feeling it’s Reyn you’re thinking about because I specifically remember learning that Reyn also lost his parents from a heart-to-heart with Riki. Then again, I could be wrong.
Riki is one of the best dads in gaming. He's right up there with Flint, Kratos Aurion and Dojima. If not better.
You're forgetting something about Poppi's 3rd form. It wasn't designed by Tora at all, it was designed by Lila.
Melia refused Gaelgar's help because Dickson used the strength in numbers excuse to kill Shulk.
Woah, what happened to your voice Melia, have you matured that much over a year or what. In fact seems like both Shulk and Melia have aged like 10 years or something. Especially Melia, she sounds quite off

I mean, the voice actress aged quite a bit since she last played Melia, so it is understandable lol

Poppi was the end result of three generations, and QT Pi's Dominatrix outfit was due to Lila, an Artificial Blade made without Tora's more... "innocent" input.
28:33 Correction: They aren't too short, they are under leveled. The Nopon are a few levels below Shalk and Melia, and this is already a Yellow Tag enemy for Melia. It is a Red Tag in relation to the fuzzballs.
Ok no that's not why tora made poppi. He made her specifically to 1.) become a driver and 2.) he thought it would bring his dad home.
Yes he could be pervy but it only came up in that scene where she is introduced, in two heart to hearts and almost never again.
Yes poppi qt and qt pi are sexualised but that's more the whoooooleee game. He never perved in any of the girls like pyra and he never went out of his way to be a creep at inappropriate moments especially during story scenes.
The design of poppi is not really toras fault because it's just how Xenoblade chronicles 2 is.
Had Xenoblade chronicles 2s design been more like Xenoblade 1 or X maybe poppi would have been a robot nopon like poppi buster ( which is basically what you were asking for anyway btw) but it's not.
Saying that's why tora is unlikable just doesn't seem right
