Just bought a budget Chulane EDH build off ebay for 36 bucks. Glad to see it already has a good portion of these cards in it, definitely using this build to flesh it out, really like the interaction of it all
I put Nyxbloom Ancient, Abundance, Smothering Tithe as ramp and Aetherflux Reservoir, as added win con. Which also includes Avenger Of Zendikar and End-Raze Forerunner, in my deck. I Also Put Alchemist Refuge, Beacon Of Immortality, Archtype Of Imagination, and Roon Of The Hidden Realm into my deck. I’m also running Sublime Epiphany, Bant Charm and two other Counterspells plus two counterspells on creatures.
If you're including Seaside Citadel, why not take a look at Treva’s Ruins? Comes into play untapt, but you have to return a land. But with Chulane it won't be a problem to bring that land back in play
HEADS UP: panharmonicon doesn't work in this deck because the triggered ability of Chulane is on cast not on entering the battlefeild. Still an awesome deck though!
Got this deck mostly built. Gonna keep working on it. I’m curious as to why you didn’t include Wall of Blossoms and Wall of Omens. They seem like straight gas in this deck. Also, to me the land count is a bit low, but I think it works for now.
The land count is not that bad considering that you have a bunch of creature ramp in the early game in fact my build of this deck only runs 32 lands but that's because I'm running phyrexian mana spells.
@@waynefeller8824 nomads en kor cephalid illusionist and Laboratory maniac or jace wielder of mysteries. Drawing a card off an empty library after you mill your entire deck and using flash and protean hulk as well to assemble the combo.
@@waynefeller8824 no problem buddy just make sure you have ways of shuffling the hulk targets back into your deck whether they be in your hand or graveyard because you don't really want to draw them and ideally you would wait until the end of your opponents turn before yours before an opposing blue players turn because flash is an instant therefore the combo can be done at instant speed can actually win on turn 2 or turn 1 with fast mana
I want to use Chulane to make a partial druid tribal to eventually make some nasty huge beasties/elementals with equally nasty etb effects and some flicker/blink.
I think either one would be good for the deck. I personally like Sakura better as it costs one less mana, and can help you ramp into Chulane a turn early.
ima stop you right there with all that non creature ramp...take those out, you need more creatures that tap for more mana theres a crazy amount , i have 5 non creature cards in my chulane deck, more creatures the better, even at the cost of a board wipe, by that time chulane himself will get you enough draw to grab PLENTY of lands to replay him and slap down more creatures. and wheres that Dead-eye Navigator and Tishana, Voice Of Thunder???
I love how I have most of these cards already so when my personal build of Chulane falls apart I can build this. Nice job. I am a fan.
Also, may I suggest Abundance for this deck. Abundance + Chulane is an insane interaction

i added aethurflux reservoir to combo off with the creatures that untap lands when they enter, and im wondering what would be the best to cut

What about wall of roots for that similar druid theme? Then just bounce it to refresh it's downside?

Do you think that Yavimaya Elder would be a better option in this deck over Sakura Tribe Elder?
I think either one would be good for the deck. I personally like Sakura better as it costs one less mana, and can help you ramp into Chulane a turn early.
Yavimaya isn't ramp, it's fixing, and therefore a massive trap.
