Thank you for doing this video, David. I hope many people support Gratz and his book especially now that it is under fire. The protagonist in Gratz's book loves E.L. Konigsburg's book because she, too, wants to run away from home--though in her case, it would be to the library. So many people have told me how much they loved THE MIXED UP FILES... since I posted the video. Of all the banned books I've been reading, the charges against this one were the most absurd. Thanks again, David, for buying the book and for the kind things that you said about my video.
I may have to look at this one too after having seen it on Pat's channel. Why not add another book that is going to make me mad about things in the world. Great vid David
@@davidnovakreadspoetry Haha, sometimes being mad is good if it's about the right things maybe. I just feel it's important to know about some stuff even if it makes me mad, such as the environmental stuff I read a lot.
