For fusing those cubes together, my first instinct would be to put some sort of space-filling piece on the inside, and attach the two pieces to that. Made of some sort of putty, perhaps?
It would be cool to make the 2x2x3x4 again and fold it back to how it looked like two 2x3x4’s fused together (04:13), and re-sticker them like a standard cube
@THE 2021 CHANNEL if you don't understand between magnetic cubes and maglev cubes, then magnetic cubes are basically putting magnets on the edge and the corners to give a nice snappy feeling. However, MagLev is when you replace the spring with two opposing magnets to remove the spring noise and make the cube faster

Wouldn't it have been better to only cut the tubes out of one of each fused corner piece? That way they could have been used for additional surface area when gluing together.
IF the plastic is compatible use plastic model glue in the future it takes a little more work because it doesn't tack up immediately but will give a very strong bond because it essentially welds the plastics together only downside is not all plastics work with plastic glue.
