I get what you mean. It seems though, you don't get what I mean. In simple terms, things are as follows: 1) the referees were speaking romanian (not English) with each other, not directly to Wembo; 2) the phrase 'ăla negru' you hear in the registration doesn't mean 'nigger' in romanian, it means the black one (out of the group of the white ones, over there); 3) Was it a poor choice of words using this phrase? Absolutely!!! He should have known better that using a 'false friend' that has a bad connotation in english, could bring him nothing but trouble. So, don't mistake a stupid remark with racism. Racism is when you use a word intentionally to humiliate a person This is not the case because in romanian language the word NEGRU has no bad connotation; 4) 'false friend' in grammar means when you hear a word in a foreign language that seems similar to a word in your own language and you automatically assume it must mean the same thing. Well, IT DOESN'T!!! That's why it's called'a false friend' the same thing happened here. The word 'NEGRU', used by the 4ht referee in his dialogue with the other romanian referee, (not with Mr Wembo),
In romanian language means one of the two things: A) a common family name for hundreds of thousands of people (romanian people, white, caucasian, blonde, beautiful people, which happens to have this family name from millennial generations, not as humiliating name but as a proud roman-rooted name); B) the only word for the color 'black' in romanian language; So, when the referee said ' ăla negru de acolo, identifică-l și sancționează-l' he actually said 'the black one over there (,and pinpointed him in the group of the rest of the people on the bench, white, brown colored people, ) , identify him (clearly, hi didn't know his name or T-shirt number), and sanction him. He never ment to say the n* word, he strictly referred to his skin color, as being 'the blackest one' (if this can pass as a word) on the bench. 5) we do have a word for 'nigger' in romanian language, it is NEGROTEI, but this word was never used in this situation, and the word NEGRU, which was used indeed has no bad connotation in our language, as it was explained above.

Do these elite players feel offended? the same players who are reported to be drugging and raping girls in the context of power no one sees people who have nothing to eat or where to live? in Romanian the black ones are called ~ crow ~ and that would mean discrimination or racism. I get what you mean. It seems though, you don't get what I mean. In simple terms, things are as follows:
1) the referees were speaking romanian (not English) with each other, not directly to Wembo;
2) the phrase 'ăla negru' you hear in the registration doesn't mean 'nigger' in romanian, it means the black one (out of the group of the white ones, over there);
3) Was it a poor choice of words using this phrase? Absolutely!!! He should have known better that using a 'false friend' that has a bad connotation in english, could bring him nothing but trouble. So, don't mistake a stupid remark with racism. Racism is when you use a word intentionally to humiliate a person
This is not the case because in romanian language the word NEGRU has no bad connotation;
4) 'false friend' in grammar means when you hear a word in a foreign language that seems similar to a word in your own language and you automatically assume it must mean the same thing. Well, IT DOESN'T!!! That's why it's called'a false friend' the same thing happened here.
The word 'NEGRU', used by the 4ht referee in his dialogue with the other romanian referee, (not with Mr Wembo),
Fuck political correctness. Its a tyrany
In romanian language means one of the two things:
A) a common family name for hundreds of thousands of people (romanian people, white, caucasian, blonde, beautiful people, which happens to have this family name from millennial generations, not as humiliating name but as a proud roman-rooted name);
B) the only word for the color 'black' in romanian language;
So, when the referee said ' ăla negru de acolo, identifică-l și sancționează-l' he actually said 'the black one over there (,and pinpointed him in the group of the rest of the people on the bench, white, brown colored people, ) , identify him (clearly, hi didn't know his name or T-shirt number), and sanction him.
Referees takes a ton of abuse each match. I used to referee and it wasn't even at a competitive level.
If he had said the “blonde guy” or the “short guy” everything would be ok, right? Hypocrite society.

Demba Ba a black guy furious because the referee say "That black guy" what is wrong with people?he getting nervous because of that,he must be proud with his skin culour (shape),i'm sure that many black man will not like Demba Ba after his disappointment because he was named the black one,
white ,caucasian,asian,black we are all the same and i will never receive as a rasism if a black guy will say about me "that whitte guy'
For sure the referee has not say that with rasism
I'm not ignorant,not at all but you can not make a tragedy because of that,as i say we are all the same,he must be proud with his skin shape and don't get mad just because the referee use that word
@@pigeonsracingtauben4659 Are you not capable to understand that Demba ba or other people maybe feel strongly different about this?
I would blame Neymar for criticizing Coltescu that he said the word Black, but then he tweets Black Lives Matter,I would blame any France player for blaming the referees but feel proud when the fans shout-out :"Allez les bleus",I would blame every Turkey fan that, ironically, can't take a "insult" but then go home and not respecting their women(for the ones that don't know: turkish women barely have any rights),I would blame Ba for his words because when you, as a white man, go to Africa, and you're the only white person, they would call you a white man, I would blame Coltescu for not being able to use the "right" words, but I won't because as a Romanian, oh, I'm sorry, gypsy I can take all of your insults. We, as romanians, can take all of your disrespect because we are used to it, but that doesn't mean we like it. We know that nobody would benefit if they would defend us, so take it as it is and get over it.
Amazingly well but i would also blame ``political corectness`` for pretty much everything,people are getting dumber day by day!
I think you are a little ignorant, my friend, the first thing that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the state of the Republic of Turkey, gave women the right to vote and be elected, and European women were just a sex object.
Learn and talk about things not just for the sake of words, but by asking and talking by researching, or if you talk like this without knowing it, you will be a fool with a bird-brained
If he would’ve said that “African coach” it still would’ve been racist some how
Lol that truly would've been racist to presume he is from africa just because his black

@Bingo Duff i'm not american
I'm from Romania so I can tell you exactly what the fourth referee said:
"Look at that black man over there !
That's not possible !
That one, go and identify him !
That black one over there, you can't do like that !
That black one !"
The misunderstanding started from the fact that in Romanian the word "negru" which means "black" is auditory resembling with "nigga" or "nigger", although it`s unfortunate that he used someone's skin color to identify him.
Ya...but the referee is UEFA license...must be aware for all
referring to someone's color is discriminatory by itself. Why couldn't he have use clothes, shoes or position as reference? He saw his skin color as the major thing to highlight? Not acceptable
@@lifeisacoustics also Demba Ba is probably the most famous player on their team. How could he not know his name?
@@lifeisacoustics Because humans identify with sight and instinct and the Officials instinct based on sight was to identify the Istanbul Assistant Manager as that black person over there. This is not racism and to be making it out to be racism shows how pathetic and weak our culture is becoming to be offended and upset by a factual statement.
Unfortunately, racist always find an excuse. The color of the skin is as irrelevant as the color of eyes.In Romania, people have to find a more sensitive way to call blacks other than negro otherwise this issue will come back.
Hi, people of the world! Let’s learn the colors in romanian together: white-alb, pink-roz, red-roșu, orange-portocaliu, yellow-galben, green-verde, blue-albastru, purple-violet/mov, brown-maro, gray-gri, black-NEGRU. There is no such word as “negro” in romanian. So now that apparently we can’t use our word for “black” anymore... what word should we use instead and which color should we ban next? :)

He knows its latino and english meaning
He was speaking english to the Ist Başak şehir bench
He knows that it's used as an insult for black peaple
And he knows that he will cause a big mess

There is nothing wrong to describe the color of someones skin. Its not racism. The black men is black right?
The referee was pissed off already and yes, in Romanian “negru”=“black” which I guess is not yet racist? Or is it? I’m starting to lose count of what is and isn’t racist today 🙄
