I really appreciate your professional commentary on the new tire size of Bezza. When I bought my Bezza in 2016 (1st production model with factory standard fitted tires ie 14'') its handling was all over the road. Then I asked Perodua engineer on how to resolve the handling issue. Their advise was to change to 15'' 195-50 tire. I listened to them and resolved the handling issue, finally. As your comments highlighted that it improved the tires rigidity and improved side-wall flex and improved overall handling of the new model Bezza. Good job YS Khong.
really bro, the perodua engineer told you that. So WTF they did not implement that in first place. You know the first batch car is rather expensive for the features given. No ESC. Only ABS but 40000 for 1.0 AT and 47000+ for 1.3 premium X. And the first production, their plastics rattles like hell. I also bought one on 2016, 1.0 model. Apart from comfortable driver seat and position, that also need to extend the driver seat full to back, or else your feet that handles the throttle will be in pain vry fast, nothing good in that car, fuel also is not vry good like advertised. Fuel safe is there but no so much as they boasted.

Eventually, as the Bezza was bought for my children (didn't want them to be street demons), I had to remove the potent booster n change back to the original 14" rim even though had to sacrifice the marginally improved handling on the 15" rims.

One day I must drive up the Cameron highland road where it’s known as road for real drivers but of course in a safe manner, ignore those negative people uncle, don’t let them discourage you
When people say you re all over the place, they don't really understand the technique in executing a corner at high speed. Dont worry uncle we get you. Racing lines ftw
Been waiting for this video since the launch of bezza 2020.. thank you... but I think it will be harder to drive up the second part of Genting as it's much steeper
Every car will struggle up the second part, especially the smaller engines. It will make it, just slower and have to work harder. My old Datsun had only 69 hp, but could make it up too, and the old road was much steeper.
After watching a former 5 times rally champion on how he drives up and down Genting Highlands roads, especially on how to move on the corners, I get the sense that I always choose the suitable driving lines/pattern too by instinct =O What a coincident LOL It's all about the balancing feel, just like when you first learn how to ride a bicycle as a beginner =P The problem lies in me is my driving style drank too much petrol XDDDDDD Though I never speed unless it's going up hill (for fearing not enough momentum to move the small engine like Viva and Axia and also afraid that they would slip backward instead of going forward while climbing hills) Well, I just drove Batu Ferringhi and Balik Pulau road. Yet to try on Genting Highlands road. Well, thanks Mr. Khong for the advises and I will remember to on the lights before going up hills for the expected fog, behind the front car for few seconds or a minute before take on them so that the front driver is alert and well-informed etc. Thanks for the lessons =D
I really wish Produa or Proton make a sport version of their cars. Maybe but a sport badge like the TypeR for Honda and M for BMW. Maybe a Neo badge. Imagine Myvi Neo or Gen2 Neo that focus on performance more. Probably more people who like driving buy local cars than buying japanese cars.
When he said there's no car behind that means he use his rear view mirror wisely. Uncle knows his surrounding that's why he can change lane with confidence. You need to know what's behind you when doing spirited driving so you don't hit other vehicle. He's not all over places , he just using racing line so he can maneuver the bends fast and safely. If you drive as fast as uncle did but not using racing line your car would needed braking more often and the drive would not be as smooth and fast. Even bezza can be a sport car if the driver knows how to use racing line safely.
Thank you uncle giving a lot of information and knowledge as well. I have learn alot from your video. I will keep on support your channel. Happy Chinese New year uncle

Thank you for the ' compliment'. Actually there is no such thing as a bad car, especially in today's environment. Every car built has certain objectives to be met. You may think that this one is a bad car; but there are people to whom this car is a blessing, because one of its design objectives is to have a boot space of 500 litres. This boot space rivals that of a Mercedes E Class. Still others would appreciate that this car is one of the most affordable small sedans around, as this was also another production objective. The suspension set up is Macpherson struts and torsion beam, a very common build for cars in this category, and it is not rocket science to tune these settings to provide a good balanced ride. Believe me, the car can actually be driven hard,, so how can it be a bad car? Anyway, thanks for your comments, and thank you for supporting our channel.

Every car will struggle up the second part, especially the smaller engines. It will make it, just slower and have to work harder. My old Datsun had only 69 hp, but could make it up too, and the old road was much steeper.
YS Khong Driving thank you sir
Uncle, your trully impress on drive this sedan 😊
Sometimes I imagine I'm Uncle K while I drive my Proton Iswara like a boss.
Of course I check there's no other car around lah. 😂
Hahaha.
shockingly, being a facelift car, the nvh is quite loud actually... the previous model werent that loud somehow i notice
After watching a former 5 times rally champion on how he drives up and down Genting Highlands roads, especially on how to move on the corners,
I get the sense that I always choose the suitable driving lines/pattern too by instinct =O
What a coincident LOL
It's all about the balancing feel, just like when you first learn how to ride a bicycle as a beginner =P
The problem lies in me is my driving style drank too much petrol XDDDDDD
Though I never speed unless it's going up hill (for fearing not enough momentum to move the small engine like Viva and Axia and also afraid that they would slip backward instead of going forward while climbing hills)
Well, I just drove Batu Ferringhi and Balik Pulau road.
The idea is good. Now let's see if the powers that be will budge
Happy Chinese New Year Uncle YS Khong! May you and your family have a prosperous 2020. Huat ah!
Thank you, Joseph. Happy CNY to you too.
Thank you Awi!
Ok ja.. kemain padu uncle tekan... yg ramai komen sampan la.. apa la.. betul ke tidak..
Tengok video ini, dan buat keputusan sendiri
Thank you uncle giving a lot of information and knowledge as well. I have learn alot from your video. I will keep on support your channel. Happy Chinese New year uncle
Happy Chinese New Year Mikki.
loved to watch uncle Khong video.. where can you find car review plus driving advice together...
BTW, saga, bezza and picanto. .mana nak choose ni
Oh, thanks for listening to suggestions advice on corner etc on genting road... cheers
Picanto if you have the money forget about the badge. Harith from Paultan and a few others give a very good review about the car. Check it out.
YS, Steady. Always enjoy ur review
Anyone sayin YS "is all over the road" must be ignorant or just being mean. I'm an experienced driver myself & i think YS is doing it correctly, very careful & considerate & never taking unesasary risk. He only takes a racing line when there's nobody behind, which is good driving. To these "tin kosong" people, pls do mot try teach Sifu YS how to drive. He's won so many races, how many hav u won?? I only listen & respect track drivers like YS bcos i'v been on a track & i know how good YS is . .
Thank you so much, Kimi, for your great support!
Thanks for the testing, given me some confidence to buy the car.
Woww...uncle power...terbaekkkkk
Balls of steel. Driving bezza so fast with all the fog up n down the hill. Powahhhh 👍👍
UNC maybe next time if possible one camera showing the speedometer
Well it’s better to not show the speedometer since some fanboy from p**l**n might report it causing uncle might not be driving up to genting for test drive anymore in future
Hahaha.
I enjoy watching your driving and your car reviews on TH-cam. Keep it coming. 👍👍👍
I was working and commuting up in GHR to/fro Gombak for 10 years, using my trusty Proton Wira 1.5 manual with set of after market shock absorber.
I follow what you're doing in all those sharp and not so sharp bends 😁👍💪

Uncle pandai main👍
would really like to have a t-shirt of yours ! love your videos and driving ethics
Where are you from? Pm me.
you will drive any bad car uncle coz u are pro. you will compensate any car weakness with ur skill.
@@YSKhongDriving you said there were not any bad car today bcoz you are pro driver. ask any normal driver thinking they are motorhead/pro driver in real world there. they will said very different things about cheap cars😂😂
To some marginal owners, cheap is good. Because they cannot afford anything more expensive. So cheap is good.
@@YSKhongDriving couldnt agree more bro
Good job uncle 🥳🥳🥳
Wa uncle, you drive with style man
uncle is so pro
Happy Chinese new year uncle khong
