- Diving the Junk in Lake Jocassee in Devils Fork State Park. This dive spot in the lake consists of a faux graveyard, a ski boat, wooden sailboat, a tik tac to table, some old vending machines, and various other obstacles. It's a great place to get reacquainted with your dive gear or practice skills! Call Lake Jocassee Dive Shop to get a ride out there!
This is neat, sort of a diver’s entertainment center. Lol
Yes it is an entertaining place to dove and a great area to do training as well
Loved the video. Thinking of going and diving here in Jocassee. Where exactly can I find this stuff?
Sam
Thanks! This is over by the “wall” on lake Jocassee. The local dive shop can take you there or show you on a map where the mooring balls are if you have your own boat.
2 questions 1. Was that a big fish you were playing with in the boat? 2. Were those ACTUAL bones/skull/remains of people that were buried in the graves? Thank you
There is a large catfish like object that resides in the old Chinese sailboat. The graveyard in this video is a mock graveyard that was created for divers to be entertained by. The Mount Carmel graveyard is in a deeper location of the lake.
Dude that was one of those giant fish stuffed animals from bass pro shop. I had that exact same one as a kid! Shit that’s a dope find
Glad you enjoyed it!
I need y’all to do lake hartwell or lake greenwood
Anything in particular you would like to see filmed in either of those lakes?
Why? Those lakes are not known for their visibility.
Nice
Thanks for watching!
How deep is this??
Around 60 feet
How deep were you.
This area is about 60-65 feet deep

Who keeps trashing up lake Jocassee. All the debris & Halloween garbage put on the bottom without a federal permit.
That’s a good question …. But it’s definitely more interesting than beer cans
