to anyone watching in the future: dNu/du is the derivative of the function N(u) ... area under the curve between u + du gives the total number of gas molecules with speeds ranging from u + du.... i.e, (dNu/du) * du = dNu (as sir stated)....dNu/N gives the required fraction. (1/N)(dNu/dU) has little significance, only it's area with b/w u + du matters. (which sir explains later on)
sir there will be a point when the graph will be parallel to x- axis which shows that all the molecules of gas having different speed will be equal . am i right ??????????????
you are great sir but you could have explained the lines you write in english... feel nhi aati warna.. waise free me to ye bhi bhadiya hai but it wouldn't hurt if it were better.... I guess you don't teach basic things because you are a top notch teachers only for toppers..
