Then he sacced the Artifact creature to Iron Man, which says you cannot sac artifact creatures for that ability. So be careful when playing Iron Man folks. Little things make a big difference.
Hated I could not get the secret lair cause of the whole catastrophe, but I did get some awesome proxies instead. I just cant decide which one I would want to build.

I didn't get the chance to get any of the Marvel Secret Lairs, I love Wolverine, he was my favorite X-Man since I was a kid watching the first X-Men Movie. I was working so I didn't get the chance to order the Wolverine Secret Lair before it got sold out, but I am happy to watch it in action. This was a awesome episode
The price has gone down quite a bit. It's probably affordable for you now. Looks like on TCGPlayer you can get the whole drop in foil for $20 more than it sold for initially.

@1:12:03 KMBest uses "move vibranium" to "move" the three counters from his land onto Black Panther. However due to Primal vigor, this should actually place 6 counters on Black Panther, as "moving" counters is just shorthand for removing them from one permanent and adding them onto another. Basically the same thing as what Eilidh wanted to have happen if she were to move her counters back from the Ozolith onto Wolverine - it would double them in the process.
That dude played that Black Panther deck so poorly, missed the put counters on lands just about everytime and needed reminding by CGB, that and playing Primal Vigor into Iron Man with an Academy Manufactor
@L1GHTGAMING To be fair this is a sponsored video by WotC, he somewhat "had" to play the Secret lair card (primal vigor) because it was part of the set, even if it's absolutely horrific and nearly always a worse doubling season, being as you spend 5 mana for the effect and then everyone else benefits before you do (as you spent all your mana on this) - and unlike doubling season, it doesn't allow Black Panther to double the counters he puts on his lands. The only reason I can think of that vigor was put in over doubling was to prevent the set having too much reprint value, honestly, which is ironic being as BP set was the lowest value anyway.
@fintan3567 extremely incorrect, primal vigor DOES double the counters put onto the lands if the land is a creature, ie his Mutavault, and doubles again when moved to BP. The guy was just really bad with timing and knowing his own triggers
@L1GHTGAMING Yes, if the land is also a creature - but they never were, and in general usually won't be. I'm referring to the difference in Primal Vigour and doubling season. Doubling season doubles all counters, on all your permanents, no need for them to be activated manlands.

I really enjoy living vicariously through the game experience you folks have. My EDH experience is four players running 6-8 board wipes each, not counting spot removal and mass land destruction. This is what happens when you play with people who got into the game in the Ice Age/Chronicles era, I suppose. Anyway, seeing people actually have card interactions or getting their commander into play without having it countered or immediately removed is nice. It's like there's a whole other game in these cards that I never get to see.
I had NO IDEA Mr. Best played mtg! My ADHD has taken me from his personal bot and chat ladders on MS to an obsession with Commander, he feels like a recurring character in my journey 😂
turns out not being touched all game leads to pretty easy wins since you never need to use a single resource. all of these commanders are pretty broken once you get a couple of the right pieces into play... makes sense storm wasn't in this game since she actually blows ALL of them out of the water.

While playing Sol Ring and the Aetherworks Marvel, he used them afterward in the same turn when they should've been tapped. Gotta read the card to explain the card, I guess he missed the words at the end.
I am still incredibly puzzled by the decision to include primal vigor instead of doubling season with Black Panther's secret lair, the other sets have an equivalent "high value" card or more, so I cant understand why would they just give the worse version of the same card.
At 29:35 : am I reading the card wrong or would Season of Weaving's second mode have allowed @covertgoblue to make 4 token copies of Academy Manufactor ?!? 😱

Sharding sphinx only makes one thopter per creature, not per point of damage.

He brought up wolverine being regenerated if Olivia tried to save CGB by killing it. Regenerate would’ve removed it from combat actually.

Primal Vigor only doubles the counters that will be put on creatures. The ozolith is not creature.
