Rich, your facial expressions are priceless every time you’re faced with some exotic “foreign food”. I think you’re just a big Cathedral City boy at heart! Well impressed with Eva’s willingness to try the broth at the temple and to enjoy the whole experience. Rich, as they say in Greece “you look like a fly in the milk”! Embrace the differences…hahah! OMG, no way I would do that ! Well you guys have found the adventure you were looking for; you may just as well like it and go for it ! Have fun !
You need camel packs and to be sipping water every few mins. The head spinning is cos you are overheating/dehydration. How did you manage with the helmets on the plane as we have had problems as carry ons
I think I could do a Europe trip but not Asian work all that 'humididity' on top of the heat. I break into a sweat just putting my gear on! I bought that cooling spray stuff for working in the office. Those nasal things look cool. Are you sure they're not poppers? 😉 😂 Loving it!
For street food, watch to see if motorcycle taxi's or taxi drivers are eating there. They know where the good and bad places are. Have fun, I love Tahailand watching your adventures. Love from Australia
I know that feeling when we did our bike trip in Kerela India in January most days was 38-40 a few days hit 45 in bike gear is no fun. The traffic looks chaos but it does in a strange way all flow doesn't it and dont really get road rage like you do in the UK. Cant wait for the next episode best advice on food eat street food rather than western food they aren't great in cooking western food that can be undercooked etc.
Rich stop wearing lady's heeled boots then they won't get caught on the pegs😂 ah and the temple with you two full-size frames, I can see this is going g to be brilliant series ❤
You have to be very careful of dehydration over there, you must keep, the fluids going I would suggest fresh fruit wherever possible. Whilst I’ve done a lot of Asia I’ve never done it by bike. We did mostly public transport which is yet another experience. If you think Bancock is busy try the cities in Vietnam. You just put your head down and go for it and others drive around you ( absolutely frightening). Enjoying your travels really interesting. I found Bancock too busy and once away from there it was far more interesting. If you get the chance go to the elephant sanctuaries around Chang mai
You need to drink plenty of clean water and eat juicy fruits as well! You must be really dehydrated and coffee makes that worse. Next trip you do where water is suspect, get a water filter that can filter even stream water and makes it safe. Pure Clear life filter survival straw for example. You might even be able to get them there. Anyway, thanks for the videos. They're really interesting. 😃👍🤗
I just want to remind you that Google Translate has a photo and microphone option. So if you set it to THAI on your phone you can point your phone at a picture and it will translate. Also if you want to understand something important, turn on the mic function and get the person to speak into your phone. You can also use it for you to ask something in Thai. You mentioned the birds singing. My wife likes bird spotting. She uses an app that records the bird song and it tells you what the bird may be and gives you lots of information about that type of bird. I don't mind small geckos as they eat flies. They can be very territorial in your room and often fight each other if there are a couple of them The big boys are called "Tokay gecko". Definitely keep them outside. They are LOUD and had a certain fame among American soldiers in Vietnam. I hope that some of this is of interest and use.
I don’t know what to make of that 🤷🏻♂️ usually when following you pair I’m either jealous or think ‘I’ve done that /been there myself ‘ but Bangkok ??? … I’ve done Central America /Africa but never Asia as for some reason that part of the world never interested me … but I’m sure as you acclimatise youl enjoy it more and more , stay safe 👍
In Thailand Heat you should be drinking around 7 pints of bland liquid a day. So WATER. Coffee and some fizzy drinks are diuretic. So you need the water in the heat or you can feel like shit as what you drink is dehydrating you! Black is a heat sink! Wearing black gear in sunny hot climates is a huge game. Black Gloves and boots a NO as well! Get a white over sized tee shirt regularly soak in water, ring it out and the evaporation as you ride will cool you. Sounds crazy but wetting a cotton kind of skull cap and putting your helmet on will help cool your head with the evaporation. Get a baseball cap, soak in water, ring it out and it cools your head as you walk around! Being a European coffee addict in high heat and humidity without drinking a lot of water isn't smart or clever. Enjoy the ride, but FFS use and carry water😃
The ice is fine to use. No bartering at small shops & coffee shops / stands On the bike, keep left, technically you are supposed to use the side roads & not dual carriageways. Again officially you are not allowed to go over big bridges and flyovers Of course as you have observed everyone ignores the rules but the police if they spot you might decide you should make a donation to their pension fund. Carry some cash with you You need to keep drinking fluids, water & gatorade etc dont be riding without carrying drinks with u
People leave the keys in their bikes outside the shop! Baskets of money are left on the counters in shopping centres… I’m sure theft does happen here but it feels very safe here indeed
Guys try the local small vendors, food is amazing there lively good depends on there food so food poisoning isn't going to happen or they would be out of business in days, rich as for non spicy food say no chilli
You need to use google translate you just hold it over and it translates it immediately very handy for food, I lost 1.5 stone in 1 month I stopped eating and just drank gallons of water and made myself ill, don’t drink pop only water imperative you keep hydrated. Also you can ignore the red lights if your turning left
Aloha Mates...cultural tip... put your shoes away....by some Thais it is considered rude to leave them outside like that on your pack... Ride Safe... Enjoy

Great video again. Keep safe xx
Thanks bud
You pair crack me up…brilliant 😂 love you bye 😂😂
Love you bye 👋
Well done driving around Bangkok. You are so brave.
Thank you, brave or stupid 😂
Great video, living in a nanny state if it looks sketchy, we're not allowed to do it unless you have signed a waiver.😂
It’s madness to us here!
@@ontheroadadventure We went wrong years ago when the state started removing the need for common sense
Rich stop wearing lady's heeled boots then they won't get caught on the pegs😂 ah and the temple with you two full-size frames, I can see this is going g to be brilliant series ❤
But I like the boots! 😂
Yes Rich you like a fish out of water when you are finding something to eat abroad. Great laugh!🤣
Haha you all love to watch me suffer 😂
You have to be very careful of dehydration over there, you must keep, the fluids going I would suggest fresh fruit wherever possible. Whilst I’ve done a lot of Asia I’ve never done it by bike. We did mostly public transport which is yet another experience. If you think Bancock is busy try the cities in Vietnam. You just put your head down and go for it and others drive around you ( absolutely frightening). Enjoying your travels really interesting. I found Bancock too busy and once away from there it was far more interesting. If you get the chance go to the elephant sanctuaries around Chang mai
We agree, things are better outside of the city, you’ll join us there soon 👍
Hope you made some donations to the temple. Thx for great videos as always
Yes we left them something of course
Two brave souls.🥸🥸
Come join the madness
You need to drink plenty of clean water and eat juicy fruits as well!
You must be really dehydrated and coffee makes that worse.
Next trip you do where water is suspect, get a water filter that can filter even stream water and makes it safe.
Pure Clear life filter survival straw for example.
You might even be able to get them there.
Anyway, thanks for the videos. They're really interesting. 😃👍🤗
Thanks bud, yes we need to lay off the espresso
Ritch they are the best hoping to go back sometime
It’s a shock but we love it here
Great video thank you but the sound has gone awry sadly.
Which part please bud?
Great vlog guys, u sure that smelling stuff hasn't got any erb in it
Lol
No but there’s plenty of opportunity to find erb here
Rich & Ewa can you rent those motorcycles out there ??
I’m not sure we haven’t seen any others yet
Can't deny I was hoping you'd rent a couple of Honda Waves or similar.
Early days yet…
I think we give way lol we are touring spain its just the same
If in doubt go flat out. It might not improve your situation but it will end the suspense 😉
Have some good food tomorrow you two and enjoy it🏍🏍
Thank you so much Michael you’re amazing! Thanks so much for your support 👍
Do you know what the bird app is called? Sounds good that
@@ontheroadadventure BirdNET. All the best
Thanks il try that 👍
Prefer the old theme music. Was like your signature. Knew it was you as soon as i heard it
We thought long and hard on this and couldn’t decide if to change or not…
What a crock of shite. 😆. You two bloody brilliant ❤
😂😂
Motorbike Looks Cool 😎😎
They are great!
I find when I visit hot countries I am usually really rough on day 3 or 4.
It’s a real shock to the system for sure
Rich, get a grip with those indicators!!
Prolific with them I am!
Ewa nice braking no thanks to rich with indicator on lol 😝
Brakes work in the RE 😂
@@ontheroadadventure❤😂😂😂😂
My uncle worked in Thailand, and he alway said if you didn't have a gecko in your room you should get one.
We want to see the big ones!
Ritch & Ewa i went to Thailand rocks enjoy
It’s amazing isn’t it
I don’t know what to make of that 🤷🏻♂️ usually when following you pair I’m either jealous or think ‘I’ve done that /been there myself ‘ but Bangkok ??? … I’ve done Central America /Africa but never Asia as for some reason that part of the world never interested me … but I’m sure as you acclimatise youl enjoy it more and more , stay safe 👍
It’s a challenge for us for sure but we like that… Hopefully it will get easier with the heat as time goes on…
In Thailand Heat you should be drinking around 7 pints of bland liquid a day.
Water 👍 Were on it now lol Thanks tho, good tips, we really have to look after ourselves better
The ice is fine to use. No bartering at small shops & coffee shops / stands
On the bike, keep left, technically you are supposed to use the side roads & not dual carriageways. Again officially you are not allowed to go over big bridges and flyovers
Of course as you have observed everyone ignores the rules but the police if they spot you might decide you should make a donation to their pension fund. Carry some cash with you
You need to keep drinking fluids, water & gatorade etc dont be riding without carrying drinks with u
Thanks, yeah we now make sure to keep stopping and drinking water allot, I think there’s allot of rules here that are seldom enforced
very good bring on the hot dogs rich 😀😀
Looking out for them….
If there are Tuk-Tuks you can guarantee the traffic will be mental....
You’re not wrong!
Hello my friends❤
Hello! 👋
Drink water very 30 minutes or else! Great Vlog by the way.
Thanks, we are getting better at remembering now
Going to bed hangry is the worst, hope you guys found some food to eat!
Thanks ☺️
Thanks for the video. I would also be scared about the food. For sleeping: get some thaiweed microdose.
Maybe we will try some 😉
you two are like me, not fat just built for comfort not speed 😂
Full frame like budda 😂
P.S. What is the risk of bike theft over there, is theft worse or better than the UK?
People leave the keys in their bikes outside the shop! Baskets of money are left on the counters in shopping centres… I’m sure theft does happen here but it feels very safe here indeed
Driving here would stress me out!
It’s fun and games!
Omg! Geckos are fine! They will stay away from you and eat the Mosquitoes in your room.
We quite like them really... Wait til you see the next video, We had Loads of them!!
I own a Super Meteor. I love it
We are enjoying them allot
If you don't eat, you are going to get unwell....... Especially in that climate...
So, eat properly, Learn to cancel indicator Rich.... And enjoy. 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers mate, we are getting much better now at finding food and remembering to drink water
That traffic!
No time to hesitate he
Nope, close eyes and go!
@ontheroadadventure and don't forget the indicator 😂
Guys try the local small vendors, food is amazing there lively good depends on there food so food poisoning isn't going to happen or they would be out of business in days, rich as for non spicy food say no chilli
We will try some out I promise 👍
@ontheroadadventure eat with you taste buds not your eyes
This is so true, often the mind can purveyor off long before it gets to the mouth!
@@ontheroadadventure looks like you guys are having a good time
You need to use google translate you just hold it over and it translates it immediately very handy for food, I lost 1.5 stone in 1 month I stopped eating and just drank gallons of water and made myself ill, don’t drink pop only water imperative you keep hydrated. Also you can ignore the red lights if your turning left
Thanks, we are beginning to adapt more now and it’s getting easier
Aloha Mates...cultural tip... put your shoes away....by some Thais it is considered rude to leave them outside like that on your pack... Ride Safe... Enjoy
Ok thank you. We don’t have any room left inside the bags for the crocs, will see if I can figure something else out
Richie such a woos , your living the dream got to try local only die once
The hungrier I get the braver I get 😉😂😂
