I think you underestimate how wide the power gap must be for that to happen, in the Fake Karakura just having the minimum soul strength they had meant Tatsuki and Keigo could survive exposure to Aizen's reiatsu when a random civilian got erased. Nobody ever dies while standing near Ichigo who has only average control over his titanic reiatsu that by this point can't be considered inferior to Aizen's own in raw strength (he can pull it in enough that Yhwach notes it looks like solid armor around him to his senses rather than blasting wildly, but that's it). Sure Aizen erased the fingers of one of the Guards but they aren't combatants and don't likely have much strength, so that just means an above average soul would be erased in contact with his new strength. I'd imagine a Vice Captain would reach the minimum resistance to handle exposure to his reiatsu, let alone Kyoraku.
The Hogyoku, it constantly grows Aizen in power. That's why he was able to break out of his cross prison within Muken. Technically if Ichigo trained longer back at the end of the Fake Karakura Town arc, he could've been able to shoot down the Soul King’s palace as well.
