Ha. When you found the first Tiffany and said oh, I hope the other one is here; I was yelling, there it is. It's there. Ha. Such excitement. Congratulations Sandra!
That jar was worth $10. The spider brooch & Tiffany cufflinks, wow! Those strange Brutalist earrings, & the blue bracelet are nice too. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Hi Sandra, what a phenomenal jewelry jar! I love so many of the pieces, especially the fish and spider brooches. How fantastic that you found Tiffany & Co. sterling silver cufflinks! You might take the cufflinks to your jeweler and ask if they can polish those scratches out. I bet they can! Christmas blessings to you and your mom. Shout out to Cousin Susan!
Simichrome polish, yes the one we use to test for Bakelite, is made for polishing shiny metals and it doesn't scratch. We use it on our shiny, brass hand bells at church. Try polishing those sterling cuff links with Simichrome.
Liked the spider brooch. Hope the cufflinks are Tiffany. Those earrings with the movable ball are very interesting. Merry Christmas to you and your Mom!
I love those brutalist earrings and the spider brooch . The lig, beaded things are wrap bracelets. And I hope that the cuff links are real Tiffany and Co. They certainly look like they are.
Hi Sandra. I don’t know Lianni but it looks like Chaan Luu wrap bracelets. Great jar for $10! I don’t remember the Tetley Tea animals but have a great Cracker Jacks story!
@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter Thank you for your interest Sandra❤️ As a child my grandparents would let me have Cracker Jacks at their house and find the prize. One time there was a ring but it was soon broken and I was a bit brokenhearted about it. The next time I visited they gave me another box of Cracker Jacks. I wasn’t too excited about the prize because of my previous ring breaking, but after some encouragement I dug around in the box and pulled open the little packet…out came the most beautiful little gold ring with two small emeralds! Someone had tampered with the Cracker Jacks box😉
Yes, the ceramics in the box of the red rose tea bags , but they don't do that anymore, at least I haven't seen them, and I love my red rose tea in the morning 🌹 You found a few goodies in your $10. jar 👍🎅 how's your Mother's puppy doing ❤
When you have an older rhinestone piece and you want to salvage the stones, how do you get them out if they are very strongly glued in? Do you have a certain glue dissolving solution that you use?
I don't use any solution to get old stones out. Sometimes stones are foil-backed and it's possible that acetone or alcohol would hurt them. I usually try carefully picking them out with needle nose pliers or a pin or toothpick. Thanks for watching. p.s. I'm not that good at repairing, so don't go by me... xo
Find a fingernail file with a fine grade buffer/smoother/shine. Any jeweler should be able to take out the fine scratches, if nothing else . Zam polishing compound is a product for polishing metal and can be used with soft cloth or felt buffer wheel.
I use GS Hypo Cement and occasionally use Gorilla Gel Glue. The gel is very sticky and is harder to work with, but can work nicely with certain things. In general, I don’t do lots of repairs, mostly cos I don’t have the time. Hope this is helpful. Thanks for watching. Cheers
Wrap bracelets. Super cool boho
Ahhhh okay. Thanks!

The metal snail and the other one look to be Place Card holders - The Wade Tea pieces are ceramic with rough bottoms to strike wooden matches on 😊
I think you're right about the place card holders! Hey, I never knew the Wade Tea critters can start matches -- cooooool. Thanks so much. xo

The Lou Zeldis earrings that folks ID'd, kind of look like a treble clef symbol. No matter - they are very cool!
I see what you mean, they do look a bit like that. Thanks for your input and thanks for watching. Cheers
The earrings are great. They look like sand cast shell slices.
You're right, I can see that. Thanks Samantha!!!

A jewler should be able to polish the scratches if they are not really deep
Ok, I will check that out!

Great finds in today's jar! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

Great finds! Now I want to go buy a jar! 😂. What glue do you use to replace the stones?

@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter Thank you it is. I need to repair a few, but hesitant cause of spillover messiness. 😂
Studio earrings
Wades are the small ceramic figurines (made in England) you could find in Red Rose tea.
“Wade’s Whimsies”, I believe 👍
Ahhh okay!
My mom bought a charm bracelet in Hawaii in 1967 that has one of those curvy nuts on it. I have it now.
Oh cool. I wonder if that type of nut is indigenous to Hawaii? Interesting. THANKS for watching!
The scratches can be buffed out. But maybe the jeweler should do it
I will check into that. xoxox
@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter happy holiday.
I think that's a wrap around bracelet.
Ok, good to know. Thank you!

My GW jars start at $20 and go up. They're shameless.
Agreed. Jewelry jar prices in my local Savers are more than that! Yikes. 😳 Thanks for watching. Hugs
Any Jeweler can remove scratches in 2-3 minutes.
I will be going to a few top-notch jewelers in the gold district of NYC soon and hope to do a video on it. I hope it can be done. THANKS for watching.
