Does Vedic astrology which is rooted in a cultural spiritual system, translate well to people of other cultures and people who practise different religions?
For example many of the remedies are culturally specific. I do understand that the Universe isn't hemmed in by any one specific culture. I refer to it's application for the adherent who's not Indian.
Whatever the religion some remidies as you rightly said are common and embedded into all older cultures......the problem with the new generation is that they have lost the teachings from their forefathers and ancestors 🙏
@@ruketubygitanshumalhotra Thank you so much for your reply. I believe those remedies or instructions by the ancestors were based on cosmic laws which only now, modern science is perceiving. ie. The Black Hole.
This generation is overly cerebral and therefore need to "reason" as to why they must do it. The answer to "why" is only understood for a person who is cultivating spiritual realisation. The Self or a sage who mastered Self knows why. It's a matter of trust and confidence.
The youth perhaps do not wholly trust their elders in a Western cartesian culture which does not rever elders and ancestors and struggles to accept an Intelligent Being/s organising existence.
Western culture is adolescent. The erasure of history makes it seem as if Western culture has always existed in history. It has not. It is also not the progenitor of civilisation itself.
Astrology in my view must be practiced through the lens of spiritual culture which is ageless.

I feel it's scientific as on certain days opposite energies should not clash , like cutting of nails on Tuesday as Saturn and energy of Mars may collide......other eg also may have the same reasons 🙏
