- OP-Z MAKES THE BEHRINGER MODEL D POLYPHONIC!
I absolutely LOVE the Behringer Model D! It sounds amazing, and it's so affordable. My one wish would be for it to be playable poly-phonically. To achieve this, I sampled some patches from the Model D into my computer, and then sampled those into my OP-Z via USB. With the chord track, I was finally able to achieve polyphony with the Model D sounds, and it didn't disappoint. Enjoy!

The sampled sounds sound really good and when used the Arturia controller, it sounded even better,
nothing to do the the controller but those bigger keys makes it easier to dig into the sound.
Wow the filter really shapes the sound, I never realized how powerful the synth parameters are.
I was really surprised how nicely some of the parameters affected the sound. I did a lot more playing with it off camera, there should be a video coming out soon showing that off more!
When I saw your first Model D video I checked and found one on Reverb for $200 with free shipping. It had some minor scuff marks on the side panels but they said it works fine. I'm kicking myself for not buying it at the time. :D I loved the song at the end. The drums and bass part had me remembering the many hours spent playing Doom a long long time ago. haha

You will find another great price. Just be super OCD about checking Reverb, Craigslist or any it's that sell synths.
@@howardanderson3061 I find it's almost fun looking for those deals on Reverb. :D I have a lot of new gear I need to spend time to learn how to use effectively so I don't really need another one at this time but those sounds are awesome.
@@FreeBeat Gotta love Reverb.com. I found a Model D last night in excellent condition with everything in original box. The seller accepted my offer and I got it for $221 shipped. I just wish I could order a cure for my GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) I've had lately. :D

If you want to chop samples, make sure you have the app handy so you can actually see the waveforms!

Yeah I noticed after I was already playing. I think the model d samples were actually a bit out of tune. Oh well, still sounded alright lol
