i've been reading comments about this comeback is nothing special, and it's not a new concept and salty stuff. But I think that regardless of concept or style, the quality of music is the difference.

It as because of a drug scandal in 2016, that B. I tried to purchase the drug LSD but didn't because he was scared. 0:52 is B. I (his real name is Kim Hanbin). He produced the song Love Scenario that got song of the year in 2018 and got the songwriter of the year as the first idol to receive it and is the only one who's got it to this date excluding producers who aren't idols who got it.

I'll never, NEVER, understand how could Bling Bling and B-Day not turn into a huge success. I seriously never saw that coming. Those songs are sooo good! They're far from being a dark spot in their career, on the contrary, was an amazing work. Bling Bling is an excellent hip-hop song, with an insane choreo that only iKON can pull off. And don't make me start with B-Day, that song sounds like nothing been done in kpop industry before, it's like a mixed of Rock, EDM, Dance Music and Hip Hop, genius! and so quirky but fun, kind of weird but with an insane beat, totally irresistible, along with a choreo that perfectly goes with the concept. Those live performances are among my all-time favorites, they set the stage on fire everytime that "Wee!!! Wee wee wee wee" started, their energy was soo high that it was totally addictive. Anyway, I believe those songs deserve much more recognition, and I hope for the day we iKONICS gather in a sort of campaign to bring them back and give them the love they deserve. There I said it, I can breathe now hehe.

They debuted over a year ago, but didn't promote at all in Korea due to them being in Japan for so long, so a lot of people left because they were disappointed with the original debut (it was soft compared to this comeback) or they got impatient waiting for a comeback.
i love how YG groups seem to have similarities and yet, they still all have a different feel for each one. Like- somehow, they all still stand out in their own way ♡
