The Oslo Diaries: Insiders' Views of the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process Then and Now

On the 25th anniversary of the September 1993 Oslo Peace Accord, the Institute hosted an advance screening of the HBO documentary "The Oslo Diaries," followed by a discussion with Oslo participants Dennis Ross and Joel Singer as well as with peace process negotiators Ghaith al-Omari and David Makovsky.
The panelists discussed the film as well as the Israeli-Palestinian peace process then and now.
HBO's The Oslo Diaries draws on previously unseen footage shot from 1992 to 1995, as well as excerpts from and re-creations based on the negotiators’ diaries-the only available accounts of what happened behind closed doors.
