  • Top speed over 110 km/h, range is normally around or over 100 km. Thats"s what this really new concept knows.

    My first thought was that it has looks only a mother could love, by the end of the great review however it had grown on me. Have not seen this machine mentioned in UK so you're the first, well done and thank you!

    Finally, a bike with 100km (62 miles) range and 110km/h (68mph) - perfect for any big city commute. If the price is right I can see this bike very popular and a real alternative to petrol bikes. I would say £4000-£5000 and it can be considered. Anything more than that and Honda CB125R or Yamaha MT125 beats it. But nevertheless the simplicity of this bike design is great - beats any current 125. Hope the Japanese big 4s will get their act together and come up with something similar.

      Looks like it's now available in the UK - slightly above the £5k even after grant though. urbanebikes.com/collections/electric-motorbikes/products/rieju-nuuk-68mph

      can someone please tell us how to get this so called grant to reduce the price of bikes please? I haven't got a bike, im a pensioner and turn 70 soon. I've heard the insurance companies want to rip you off on insurance like a grand annually on a car when you turn 70 and older? if that's true I will tell the fuckers off 1st world fookin crooks they are. 1st world crooked banks too giving u 0% interest in the UK greedy globalist bastards. Right now I'm riding a Trek MTB and its fine locally but carrying a dog on heavy hills and no pavements here in Devon with cars up your arse. Before I had my dog I cycled from Wimbledon London to Crete in 26 days then flew back . With a dog you have a huge responsibility. Pavements to me are everything to me they are safe and you can take your time up hills pulling a doggie trailer. its the reason I'm looking at this beautiful bike. Love the knobbly tires. I think this bike is a beauty. I'm just worried about the long term situation with these batteries and just how long they will last ....financially?

    Good first attempt at a electric bike by Rieju. I would be very tempted in the future to get one.

      They produced electric scooter already in 2010! 😉

      @@onroadvideo Ah I didn't know that. The problem Rieju has in the UK is the lack of recognition within the two wheeled community. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a large minority of UK motorcyclists that hadn't even heard of Rieju.

    Really nice the way you reviewed this e-bike.
    I appreciated the way you talk technically but in a way an ignorant like me understands it.
    Keep up the good work

    Looks like an electric underbone (supercub, especially trail cub). The 2018 supercub brought to the usa should have been electric.

      I was thinking the same thing, it's an electric trail cub, and it's probably faster.

    A local motorcycle shop has one of these on demo now. It looks very good but I think it has been restricted in top speed to comply with stupid UK legislation and so at a price of £5,500 it is simply too expensive in my opinion.

      its over £5000 in the UK which is steep. I imagine when the batteries start to weaken a new one will cost a fortune. and to me that's the biggest reason I wonder if electric bikes are worth the hasstle? the say its 1p per mile to run or something, but a new battery is probably £2000? so that wont be 1p per mile more like more than running a petrol bike if you ask me? anyone?

      When you need torque, these bikes are much better, than 125 cc petrol scooters. We have a relatively steep and wide street, totally straight. I usually try the bikes there. A 125 from standstill can accelerate to 55-56. The Nuuk went over 70 km/h easily. Of course, if you use it like this, the range is decreasing rapidly...

    its a utility vehicle for that it looks GREAT. love it.I would love to have it to carry a surfboard on the side and my dog either laying up front on a board and cushion or on special doggie carrier his on the rear (animal cruelty goody 2 shoes wa wa wa libtaaaard lefty SJW's go get fucked) How ever I was concerned at the high price though but its definitely top on my list . there are smaller scooters half that price available now. A review I watched was giving me only a distance of 60 km so that put me off but they probably were referring to speed mode.. especially on hills which will tax it greatly. but now you just told us we can get 150 km on eco mode so that sounds great even if I got 100 km Id get the 33 miles each way to a surfing beach I want to reach and back home .

      @briantrend1812 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      another thing is security of those batteries by little arsehole vandal lowlife fucknuts. if you leave the bike at the beach all day while surfing. will definitely have to lock it strong or carry a .45 and blow the little entitled cunts to hell.
