Of the 2 solo O3s in the beginning they both began as duos, I just finished them solo so it wasn't that bad. All I can say for surviving 100 O3s on a single character is practice.

Go for snakes, sprites and ancient ruins, also do research on what easy UTs you can get for your class, then aim for those items
