He needed 5% or higher in four polls, which he actually got in over twenty polls but they didn’t qualify according to DNC standards. That’s why he wasn’t on the debate stage.
As much as I love Yang, it's not going to happen. As much as it pains me to say it, the vast majority of this Country is to weak to stomach the sweeping reform his ideas call for. Americans in general, fear and lack the resolve for substantial change.

Justin Anderson Andrew is open to the idea of changing his policies to make more people happy! I don’t see anything wrong with using criticism from as a signal to change your own ideas. His Medicare for all plan is one of the only plans we’ve seen that would work with both sides of the political spectrum. It gives the uninsured a chance at healthcare and it leaves those who don’t want it alone. Also, Yang doesn’t take money from big corporations. He’s one of the few whose campaign is fully funded by small donations by people like me.

Most politicians are crap at messaging/branding in a way that appeals across the aisle. Yang is different. He knows how to speak to conservatives in a way that resonates with them. (I’m one of them, among many many others.) Conservatives and liberals tend to have a different hierarchy of values (see Jonathan Haidt for reference), and Yang knows how to speak to those values instead of convincing them their values are “wrong” like so many other liberals. He truly is the only Democrat who can steal a massive number of votes from Trump, and I believe the ONLY candidate who can truly unite the majority of our currently fractured county (and yes, Bernie included. He does *not get* conservatives at all.)

I'm more on the conservative side with economic policies but libertarian about what we do with our bodies. We have a lot of older folks here who still think it's evil like Satan and will never change their minds. Good to know Australia is making progress. Dnc was so arrogant the last time that they were surprised as hell. If they make the same mistake again it only means that the Dnc places their position above the future of the USA.
DNC is stupid. that's why they lost to Trump. it seems like DNC can't read the flow of the game very well. they keep making huge mistakes at critical points. choosing hillary over bernie was a huge mistake 4 years ago. dropping yang will be a huge mistake in 2020.

Hillary still blaming Russians, Bernie, Easter bunny etc... Except the real reason which is her.

Most politicians are crap at messaging/branding in a way that appeals across the aisle. Yang is different. He knows how to speak to conservatives in a way that resonates with them. (I’m one of them, among many many others.)
Conservatives and liberals tend to have a different hierarchy of values (see Jonathan Haidt for reference), and Yang knows how to speak to those values instead of convincing them their values are “wrong” like so many other liberals. He truly is the only Democrat who can steal a massive number of votes from Trump, and I believe the ONLY candidate who can truly unite the majority of our currently fractured county (and yes, Bernie included. He does *not get* conservatives at all.)

What are the cannabis laws in Australia and general perception of the plant? Just asking from your point of view.
jpratx all I know that Starting this month in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) you can get around with two sandwich bags worth of it but no more and only aloud to grow two plants at home per person
No home dealing and all that , but only in ACT which is just a city & few towns and weird coastal enclave on the NSW south coast all very close to my home in Sydney. But their little Territory Parliament has to come back from their Christmas/NYE yet soooo nothing has come into effect just yet
@@MrMrMuhummad wow still that's great progress. Does the plant grow naturally on the continent? I'm from and live in Texas. I'm more on the conservative side with economic policies but libertarian about what we do with our bodies. We have a lot of older folks here who still think it's evil like Satan and will never change their minds. Good to know Australia is making progress. I think everyone should be able to grow a plant in their home or garden. Do that and the black market for it will suffer. Most just want it for personal use.
jpratx well the argument here is that too many people are getting locked up for this extremely common drug that doesn’t actually encourage the user to harm themselves or other people like ice does . Tho I know people become dependent on it I do think it should be treated as cigarettes are treated now
@@MrMrMuhummad yes taxed the same. America is finally waking up and realizing it's costing more to prosecute and punish for petty marijuana possession than anything they gain. from it. There is a lot of legislation with it in how it's monitored at the state levels with licensing, permits, etc but they do the same thing for alcohol and tobacco sales. Those are the real killers right there! Hemp was finally put back to legal status after 80 years. This wonderful green plant is saving the planet.

Smart, a visionary, witty, very likeable, and most importantly, he doesn't 'bash' Trump or his supporters. If we want a Dem candidate who can win supporters from the center...from the Right ...former Trump supporters who are now 'on the fence', Yang is the perfect candidate.
I'm tired of the media, who have more recently been seeming to make ZERO mention of Yang when they talk about the other 5 top candidates. By doing so, by not mentioning Yang, they are sending a message that he is 'dead in the water', which in turn becomes self-fulfilling, because then folks decide 'why make any calls for the Yang campaign?' or 'why donate any more money to his campaign'? We are falling right into their trap. We need to continue to support Yang for as long as he still has a chance.
